blonde, brunette or redhead? how about all 3 --on one head!

seen on the subway this morning. a young woman, her hair all in braids. some of the braids were dark brown -- I assume that's her "real" color. some braids had been highlihgted to a golden blonde. some braids had been highlighted to a "Lucille Ball" red.

it was actually quite striking, albeit not a style for the shy or demure.

i think it sounds cool.

i have had my hair all 3 shades (and streaked with pink! ) at one point or another, but never all three at the same time.

she was with a friend, and the friend had magenta hair. not red, magenta.

I'm with you. It's pretty much commonplace to see that anymore. In fact, I'm surprised it turned heads in the New York City subway!

I have natural auburn hair and just had caramel and blonde highlights put in so now I have 5 colors on my head at one time -- brown, red, caramel, blonde and gray!
