I just happened upon a blog that was a year of using the crockpot every single night. (I was searching for a crock pot corn chowder recipe).....do you think you could do something like that?

I couldn't, I try and keep myself out of Publix for a week and it backfires...I would sure love the will power and determination though!

I know plenty of folks who could do a "year of using the microwave"..;)

What other sort of things were you thinking of? Just cooking - or other activities as well? :)

I looked at the website about the year of crockpot cooking. I should probably look again for some recipes. I've also seen where some person is wearing the same dress for a year. She accessorizes to make it look different daily. It was interesting. There was an artist somewhere that has taken on a project to do a year of nothing but skull art.

I am not sure....maybe a year of doing something to save everyday, or being a little green everyday....now I am wondering if this is pretty common??

wow - must be great quality dress!!

I love the crockpot site. I've made a few of her recipes, and I'm going to buy her book.:thumbsup2

I don't think I could do much of the same thing every day of the year. I'd get bored. Plus, I tend to quit things.:headache:

I could probably do 'glassofwineaday.com';)

I've done pretty good with my year of "something" this year... A picture a day of something Disney :)

Will I do it again next year? Not exactly... but the pictures won't stop :)

I probably couldn't.

However, this is what the movie Julie & Julia is based on.

I never really gave it a thought to do something like that.

It sounds like it could be a fun challenge but I would probably get a week's worth done and then real life would get in the way, I'd forget to blog & well...I would have to try to catch things up, etc...

Could "Plan a Disney vacation for a year" count? THAT I could do. I planned our first one for 3 years but it wasn't every single day. I'm assuming they have to blog every single day or something like that. If it were more say just blogging about it 1x week and doing it 52 weeks instead of 365 days, I *might* be able to do it.
