Those of you that belong to Blockbuster Online....
Does your store accept the instore coupons?
Our did not because it's a franchise and corporate won't reimburse them. Now all of our local stores closed.
So I'm wondering if there are ANY stores that could take the coupons. The website says something about "participating stores" but if there weren't any "participating stores" I think they should take that out of the advertisement to hook people.

My local store takes them. They also give me a free rental off the shelf each time I bring the DVDs I've finished watching back to them in the sealed envelope. It works out for us to the point that we have a ridiculous amount of movies in hand at one time. Not that I'm complaining. If that policy changes at my local store I'll be back with Netflix in a heartbeat.

Sorry to hear of your trouble. :(

Luckily, all of the stores in our area accept the instore coupons. I consider them a huge advantage over using Netflix.

Very few Blockbuster stores are franchises. The majority are corporate owned.

My store accepts the coupons too. Now if I could just remember to actually use them. :rolleyes1

My store accepts them as well. Now if I could just get my hands on an X-Men 3. Long Wait online and when I went to the store yesterday they did not have a copy. ARGHHHHH.

They sent us a copy last Monday. I was surprised since it didn't come out until Tuesday. But I guess since they knew we wouldn't get it in the mail until at least Tuesday it was ok. I was very impressed with that. :thumbsup2

Hmmm, maybe I should switch to Netflix. :confused3

Oh sure rub it in. ;) Our timing was off because we were on a mini-vacation and all ready had all three of our movies. :sad2:

Exactly how does this work? I've always returned mine via mail to the warehouse. Some stores let you return them there and get another movie?
