Hey everybody. I'm hoping someone who is a little more experience with blockbuster's online movie service can help me out. We are attempting to switch over from netflix and are doing a trial run of it right now. I like the movies in the mail and the ability to exchange them in the store for something else. It's far cheaper than netflix's plan. However, I'm NOT liking their instant view stuff. I can't find anything!! When I pull up netflix, there are lots of categories and a search area. There is also the ability to view several different movies at a time (up to about 12 titles on my t.v.) This makes finding the movies that I want quite easy.

I don't know if I am working my blockbuster thing wrong or what, but I can only get one movie at a time to show up, can't find a search option, and haven't been able to use the service at all because it's really hard to find anything.

Can anyone out there help me? Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing? We are streaming it through our dishnetwork satelite if that helps you to help me.

Also, are there as many titles available through blockbuster's instant streaming as there is through netflix? I'm just not seeing it right now. Please help me! i would love to switch and save money, but if I can't find anything I'll pay extra to netflix for their service.

Also, I can't even find the area online that shows what titles are available to instant stream. When I go into my account, all I see is dvd's available by mail. How would I even stream something to my computer if I can't find the instant stream area? I like how on netflix, I can on in on my computer and make a queue for instant streaming as well as for movies by mail. Then, when I pull netflix up on my t.v. it will have all the movies that I want to stream already organized and ready to go.

When I had Blockbuster they did not have instant streaming...they had a seperate section for the movies you could instantly watch, but there was an additional fee...it was not included in the plan. This was a little less than a year ago. We paid $12/month and that was just to receive movies in the mail and be able to exchange them in the store. The streaming aspect is why we switched to Netflix, but we find we are not using it enough so we'll be going back to Blockbuster (w/o the streaming).
