Block out dates?

Just so I'm reading this right...our family was going to purchase the Power Pass since we plan on doing the parks for 6 days. But, I noticed that there are "Block out" days for IOA the whole week we are there. Does this mean that we couldn't use our AP for that park? If so, I guess our only alternative would be the Preferred Pass?

Yes, that is how the black out days work. It is usually one park or the other. I did notice most of the summer was blocked out at one of the parks, probably IoA, as the Hulk is reoppening this summer, and Kong will open too.

Your choices would be to upgrade everyone to Preferred Passes or buy different tickets, like the 14 day flex, etc.

If your trip is in August, you could wait and see. In 2014, the opened up the Power Pass to both parks early (on August 1st) instead of keeping it the original day of August 15th. In 2015 though, it was kept at August 15th.

There's a 3 park unlimited ticket which undercover tourist sells. We purchased that for one of our trips where we needed 6 parks days. It is park to park and includes wet n wild. Ticket is good for 14 consecutive days.
