Well, not really. But it sure is snowing like mad. The ground got covered in just a 2-3 minutes. Not predicted -- I heard it's been causing commute problems (not much but very icy) in northern CT and over in NJ. Maybe I'm next.

I hate winter (unless it's in Florida)!!!!

I woke up to find that there were lots of accidents this morning because of snow squalls and black ice. I'll wait a bit longer before venturing out.

I'm up in Northeastern CT and I woke up to a dusting of snow (the most significant of the season). DH said the highway was shut down due to ice. Kind of scary.

Over in Southeastern CT. Just a dusting here. But Very Very Icy on 395. It took DH 2 hrs to travel to work, usually a 25 min. drive.

We're we are in NJ it's ok but to our south and north it's a real mess. Luckily I telework on Tuesdays or else I would have been stuck in a 23 mile backup caused by black ice and lots of accidents . I love teleworking

Light dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Been snowing like mad for a little while now, but not too much on the ground.
Don't know about the roads, as I don't drive. I personally can't wait till we have a least a couple on inches say 4 or 5

Oh, good! Not Virginia! DS would love to see snow while we're there, but I'm not sure I want to! A dusting would be nice...but not a mountain of it!

We have a couple of inches leftover from Saturday, and a little bit leftover from yesterday--enough so that the boys could go sledding behind the house last night. We're supposed to get 2" to 4" inches of lake effect today. So Pin Wizard, if you want the white stuff, come up here. You can be pretty sure of a white Christmas in Syracuse.

The streets were an icy mess here in Boston as well. Commuting to work was not fun. I'm not looking forward to the commute home tonight.

Tell me about it. I FELL on my way to class. Feet completely slipped up underneath me. The guys in my dorm said it was fairly amusing to watch

It's snowing fairly hard now, just started 15 min ago.

Oh Pam.....last February, DH had planned a weekend for us in NYC. We had to cancel it because of a snowstorm. We are heading up this weekend to meet friends from Florida, an adults only weekend. Have you seen the weather???? Guess what it calls for?? We will be OK once we near the city, but it is going through the Poconos that is the challenge.

90+ minutes to get to work this morning where it usually takes me under 20 at 6:20 AM! I passed by 5 accidents and by one of them there was a body bag waiting to be taken away

Yesterday's commute was madness. It took me 90 minutes to go 10 miles (it normally takes me 30 minutes b/c I work right near the George Washington Bridege). There was accidents everywhere because of black ice. I hit a few patches and it was skeery. It's strange because it didn't look bad out, it was sunny when I left the house!
