Blizzard Beach???

For those of you that have gone to BB how long are you usually at the park? My DH and I will be going to WDW for the first time in May and are not sure if we should plan on going to another park later that day or just relax andgo to the parks later in the day on our arrival?(May 2-9) Thanks for any input!

Usually when we go to Blizzard Beach (or Typhoon Lagoon) we arrive at park opening, so as to avoid lines. We will usually stay until early afternoon (especially on warmer days, the crowds become huge by this time). We then like to play mini golf at the winter summerland course, or head back to the hotel and rest up before hitting the other parks in the late afternoon. Hope this helps.

We stay at least 4-5 hours. Mt kids love the water parks, but we usually go the day of arrival. Last time we checked in at like 11:30, went to the room and changed and hopped on a bus to TL. We were there until it closed. Nice way to start the vacation

I would go first thing in the morning. The lines to the slides get very long later in the day. We always seemed to get chased out by an afternoon storm.

hi: the first week of may is a great time to be at wdw. i agree with going first thing in the a.m. you'll be able to get everything done before the long lines accumulate.
