realistically - how much can we cover if we go later in the afternoon (2ish or later)? We will be doing MK late evening hours the day before and know we won't be getting up early. DD has limited days with us this trip, but I know she would love to do BB. We also know about the afternoon thunderstorms in August (which we affectionately have nicknamed "happy hour":thumbsup2), may play a big part in deciding if we go or not. It would be all adults going. Just need some thoughts.:)

umm the water parks do close kind of early and there is a lot of awesome stuff to do there, but im not really sure if the crowd size changes throughout the day. good luck

We were there when BB opened on our trip and by early afternoon, the lines for some rides (Summit, etc.) were very long and were almost 1 hr long. Morning also enables you to get better choices for chairs, etc.

I would check to see if BB is open later in the day on the day you plan to go. Occasionally, the water parks will stay open longer.

Was at BB on Wednesday. Got there at about 1:30 pm. It was me and my two daughters, ages 13 and 10. We did everything but Summit Plummet. Most of the slides we went on multiple times, and a couple of trips in the lazy river. After 5 the crowd really thins out and the last hour we could walk on the just about everything. Also, we did not get chairs like you would at a resort pool. Just got a locker that we put everything in. Put my cooler bag on top of the lockers. Too much to do to sit in a chair.

Our Floridian family with the 3 DGC got to BB around 11 in June, and they had a ball. It was our check out day, a Sunday, and so, it took awhile to get out of the villa with packing and we were leaving on ME so they stayed to say good bye. They did stay to the end.

this is very encouraging. Depending on the weather I think we will give it a shot.:thumbsup2

good luck!! we always get there when it first opens because when we're ready to go (1-2pm) the crowds are really starting to roll in. its worth a shot! let us know what your results are!
