Blizzard Beach/Typhoon Lagoon

I know we NEVER talk about these guys - anything unique about the food at either of these places??

There really isn't too much to say about these places...the food is reasonable as are the prices.

In September, at Leaning Palms in Typhoon Lagoon, we thought the Chicken Ceaser was good as was the cheese burger; the chili cheese dog was voted as great by my than 11 year old but the pulled pork sandwich was only OK.

At the LottaWatta Logde in Blizzard Beach, the Cobb Salad was good but the chicken wrap was only OK.

Last few visits at TL we ALL got the kids meal - soft pretzel grilled cheese sandwich. Came with drink and two sides, all in a sand pail with shovel. SO GOOD, and plenty filling ! Extra money for more ice cream

The food is decent..not great but if you need a quick bite and don't want to wait till you leave the park then the cheeseburgers are fine @ TL...Not sure about BB since we don't like it as much and have only gone twice skipping out before lunch both times.

I second this! The cheese burger was good but I was wishing I had ordered the pretzel sandwich after tasting my sons pretzel. I couldn't get him to trade with me!

It's just the two of us, but we also like the children's grilled cheese on a pretzel. Very tasty & we always have fun giving away the pails & shovels to some little kids!

The chicken wrap at Leaning Palms is very good, and we like the bbq pork sandwich at Typhoon Tilly's.

The most important must-have at the water parks: the freshly made mini-donuts!!!

Can anyone say mini doughnuts and you can only get them at the waterparks.

Be prepared with cash as they don't take KTTW or credit cards.

And one word of warning don't let them out of your sight. DH claims to this day that they must have given me a short count. I ordered a dozen but by the time i return from the restroom only 4 were left. Lets do the math i tried one and DH tried one(but only one cause as he has sugar problem and really should not eat these)but when i returned the bag had 4 left and one must have gotten lost when he handed them to me because when i looked into the bag it was now 3 so where are the unaccounted 7 or is that 8.
