My friend and I are visiting BB for the first time on Saturday. Where is a good place to steak out chairs? We want all day shade! We will be arriving at park opening.
At TL, we had a fantastic spot under a cabana structure (not the reserved ones). Are there any places like that at BB?

How intense is Slush Gusher? When I rode Humunga Kowabunga at TL, it was not a pleasant experience. I thought Slush Gusher might be better since it has 'steps' and it not just a straight angle the whole way down.

Is Downhill Double Dipper a body slide, mats, or tubes?

Thanks!

slush and gusher is pretty tame. Sit in a raft and in parts you are pushed by jets of water. Basically the Aquaduck on the ships.
downhill double dipper is in a tube and you go down an enclosed tube and over the water at the end

When you enter, go right and head toward Ski Patrol Training area. Behind the restrooms are some spots overlooking the ski patrol area that are in the shade all day. But our favorite spot is found by heading across the lazy river and walking toward the back of the park. You will stumble upon a small shady area off the path where chairs can almost always be found. It is kind of far from the bar, but quiet and shady.

No, that's Crush N Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon.

Slush Gusher is a double humped body slide parallel to Summit Plummet. It is much less intense, but kinda painful on the back.
