We are planning on stopping over at BB one day on our trip in February. My 4 year old twins (will be 5 during our trip) are fairly good in the water, but I was wondering... how deep is the water at the bottom of the water slides?

From memory it is dependant on the slide. I don't remember anything too deep - perhaps 36 inches? My nephew was 4 at the time and he never had any troubles.

My youngest son loved BB when he was 5. We always got him a lifejacket, free of charge, to wear for the day. This put our mind a little more at ease. We also would always sandwich him..me go first, then him, then my husband. This way I could catch him at the bottom and hubby could put him down the slide at the top. The water isn't too deep but little ones may not be able to touch bottom on some. Have Fun!

The maxium depth of any of the exit pools at a water park at Disney is 4ft. The above poster gave a great suggestion, if you/ your child doesn't feel comfortable swimming in that depth rent a lifejacket. They can be worn down all the slides that a lifejacket would be needed (Body slides don't allow it, but those slide's exit pools are only a couple of inches).
