I actually had someone tell me that she'd move if I traded her something good. Otherwise, she wasn't budging.

Right now, I'm stuck trying to get my 150K points in fireworks. Its a real prroblem since I generally can't get past 30K LOL

Report her and change room instances....that is totally uncalled for and she needs to be banned.

a trick I learned on this board is this:

When you press the globe for the map, in the lower right hand corner is a check box "Advanced Mode". Click on this checkbox.

Now, when you click on a room to enter it, you will receive a list of rooms that are open. Actually, they are called instances. They are labeled with directions, such as "north" "south" "north-north-west" etc. Choose one with either no mickey ears or very few. No mickey ears means it's empty.

I use that to collect my credits each day, and, of course, to move around on a quest. Saves time and is less aggravating.

I use this all the time too. But there are 35+ people in EVERY room, and there are only 5 available rooms. What compounds the problem is that when you do get in and learn that you have run out of time, people stay to answer the three questions that they have to redo, then exit the room. So it seems that most people in the room aren't able to look for the mickeys either. No one can.

Played all the way to the end of the last stage of fireworks, finished the game and got the DC box. Another ten minutes to play the game I just finished.

On the Ask Yavn thread he said that they didn't seem to be very aware of the disconnection problems and that they would need to see how often, when, where, etc to know if they could fix it. Maybe we should start a thread with every dc instance and details. How many posts can one thread hold?

I have another gripe about this quest and VMK was doing so much better in my book until this...

150,000 in FWs that is not an easy thing to do for MOST people ....I will get it done eventually but with 20 minute dc and over an hour to log in everytime(even after a full load-not usually this way but this week has been total misery)I dc or crash Ia mnot even sure I can complete this quest this week-end.

Oh my goodness...why don't they have more tiki rooms available? I think someone was asleep for this task... 35 people and 5 minutes to get in...

EDIT: failed task...I think I had about 30 seconds left to get in. I'm going to finish this later...

BTW, did anyone notice the typo in question 15? It says, "Tobbogan Racgers." heh heh

Wow- that took a ridiculously long time. Two hours, start to finish. I am sorry for the people who struggle with Fireworks. Good luck all!

I agree. All four are in the red zone and I'm sure once I get in there it will be timed out! What were they thinking? Oh, of course, they weren't thinking!

I can't understand why VMK doesn't spread out the hidden mickeys into different rooms so everyone doesn't gather in room and stay in that room to answer next tasks. It would make it easier to get into the rooms for others.

Having them in one room is probably ok- but what they should do is have the next task take you out of the same room- that would get people moving and not hang around in any one spot too long...

Still haven't tried (stupid work firewalls) but will doing the quest 4 times this afternoon- got to get the entire family through- well could wait for dh but since he is flying home tonight I thought I'd just do it for him...

Btw, is everybody being pro-active and contacting VMK about the tiki debacle? I sent them a comment asking to make that task a no-time-limit one, as well as increase the number of tiki rooms. If we all do that they might listen! Come on people, send a message - make a difference!
