Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

So wondering what everyone thinks about which water parks with kiddos. Why?

BB..at leat my kids thought so. Better slides, bleach feels more refreshing than murky water??

Watch out for the wave pool...I highly suggest wearing water shoes in there. My son scraped his toes, so we went to the first aid station, where we encountered the "bloody toe" line 10 people deep.

I've never done the water parks with kids this age, so if I was going to pick based on my personal preference...I'd say Blizzard Beach. BB has bigger and faster slides. They also have a pretty great kiddie area.

TL is very relaxing, but the huge waves in the wave pool send me in a panic. We usually opt to do BB instead.

We love BB and is a 5 min from KV. Love the lazy river! Achoo!

We have not gone to TL since before we had our children. We were going to try TL this year. What does this me? Iis there something we should know?

For the younger set BB has a better kiddie area, and the icebergs pool with smaller slides, lazy river and family ride were better. They both have wave pools that are different but the lazy rivers are equal. Height requirements meant that unless you carry your rings from the bottom to the top - envision everyone trying to carry their own, then the adults getting two each, it was EASIER and there were more smaller slides at BB than TL. So at TL we did the ring slides twice (DD4 and DD8), family ride twice and spent the rest of the time between lazy river and wave pool. At BB we did much more.
If you have older kids/tweens/teens it is easier and comparable at both (but the older lot prefer TL).
