Which one is better for toddlers?

Blizzard Beach has an awesome little kid waterslide area. My DD loved that area on our last trip. She was 20 months-old and could do all of the slides there.

I would vote for TL b/c it has more shade. My girls enjoyed this water park more.

We had decided on BB, and that's good because TL will be closed when we get there, and we didn't realize that! In previous threads when the topic came up, most of the comments favored BB, so that's how we picked that one. DGC 2, 3 and 4. We'll see.

This past trip, we went to both. My 4yo perferred BB over TL by far. The giant wave pool at TL really scared her!

The awesome family raft ride at BB was a favorite. It's a long ride so you can really sit back and relax. The gentle wave pool at BB was great too-- they had innertubes available and you can just bob along.

The toddler areas were similar. My only complaint was the bigger kids at TL took over the water sprayers in the toddler area and kept on shooting people and little ones as they tried to get up the stairs or play in any of the areas.

It was our first time at the water parks and we loved it.

Have only been to TL, but had a blast! There are lots of shallow pools and sprayers for the little ones in the kiddie area. It's beach-themed, so be prepared for sand. (The kiddie lunch comes in a pail.) I agree that the main wave pool is very big, but there is a little side pool off to the left that is much lighter. The lazy river (or whatever it's called there) is good with little kids as well - and you can use it to get from one area to another, so possibly less walking.
