I've never been to either park and really don't know much about either one. Which would you do and why? No children will be on this trip (if that would make a difference).

Thanks in advance for all your opinions!

My favorite of the two is Typhoon Lagoon simply because I enjoy the tropical theming as opposed to the snow-and-ice theming. I get enough of that in real life!

Simple...

Both. There are threads on this board constantly comparing these two water parks but as a 26year old water park lover I cannot split the parks into 1 to do and 1 to leave.

If you like thrill rides and/or have teens in your party then BB is for you. Also I understand the kids area is better at BB, It has mini versions of the adult rides.

If you are slightly older and dont have kids to worry about then TL has a slower more relaxed pace.

For me, Water with a couple of slides and somewhere for lunch is all I require.

We prefer Typhoon Lagoon now that we have been to both for a few reasons-we prefer a tamer time at the water park. Though we are thrill seekers in the theme parks, at the water parks we are a little less interested in huge slides. We usually hang in the lazy river a lot, go on the rides where DH and I can ride together, and hang in the wave pool. Since we included it in our passes, we dont worry about wasting a day's admission not doing everything.
BB is really cool but there are more thrill type water rides than relaxing there so thats why we choose TL. :)

We also like TL better. Again , themeing is great! Just so beautiful!

The wave pool is SO fun, it is not like any other wave pool. The waves are BIG, and feel more like the real ocean, you can actually ride them in and surf on them.

TL better because I hate to walk around looking at snow! I live in nw PA, and it snows 6 months a year here. Plus, I can't wait to try the new water coaster at TL.

I live in Maine so I know what you mean although I'm sure BB is a lot of fun. We're planning on going to one of the water parks for the first time later this month and I just can't bring myself to go to BB so it will be TL for us!!
