Has anyone visited the water parks in February? I know one of them will be closed during our stay (Feb 10 - 19) for rehab. But we'd like to include a part-day at one as a break.

How was the weather during your visit to the water park? Does the air temperature make a huge difference to enjoying the slides etc?

Thanks!

There's a simple answer. It's all relative. You live in Winnipeg, according to your signature. You'll have no problem enjoying it, since 65-70 degrees in Florida will feel like summer to you. We live in Boston, and found the water parks quite comfy in that temperature when we visited WDW in late January/early February. Now the locals around Florida, that's another story all together!!!! :rotfl2:

Enjoy the water parks, and enjoy the fact that they're far less crowded then because most of the people who spend most of the year in the Southern USA's heat and humidity think 65 degrees is cold.

Must agree with Bobbysdog - its all relative. We were at TL in Feb and was a bit cool for me - low 70's and cloudy and a bit of a drizzle. But didn't stop us one bit (especially DD who was 10).

We were at WDW in Feb. 2004. We didn't go to the water parks, but my kids did swim in the resort pool. I was told that the water was heated in all the pools and waterparks. I didn't get in, but my kids said it was fine. I would think the problem might be getting out of the water into the cold air when you are wet. I don't know what the air temp. was then, but it was mild and we were comfortable in jeans and a ss shirt.

Well, I know it won't stop DS who'll be 7, and just this year has become part fish - we can't get him out of the pools!! Once he gets in - that's it. Game over. He'll be in for the day.

Now as far as DW and I are concerned...that's a different story

We know it's not going to be a lounging-by-the-pool-in-the-sun kind of day - unless we get lucky with some heat. Just hope it won't be a mad dash for the towels after we get out!! :earseek:

Thanks!
