Blizzard Beach? Need Advice on plans...

On Monday April 28th we are planning to do Hollywood Studios. We were not planning to get there until 11am as we are doing the EMH at MK the night before and I have a DD 2, DS 8, DS 9 and a babysitter who is 16. This might be our last trip for a couple of years and I have yet to take the boys to any of the waterparks down there and we love waterparks. We are from Nebraska so we do not have a lot of them up here.

My question is, we currently have res. at Hollywood and Vine at 1:30. Can we squeeze Blizzard beach in before this or is that too rushed? Does it make more sense to cancel reservations and stay longer at the waterpark and then go to Hollywood Studios around 5? Or should I just forget Blizzard Beach all together? I checked and TTSM has fastpasses available in the evening.

If you love water parks and can get to Hollywood Studios later in the day and still do most of what you want to do then I would definitely spend some extra time at Blizzard Beach. It's a great water park!

We've been to the water parks at that time of year and by arriving before the park opened, we were able to get on most of the slides very quickly. Your boys may want to spend some time in the wave pool or lazy river too. In short, I think you could squeeze it in, but you won't regret giving yourself some extra time to enjoy the water park.

I cannot get a reservation later. I think that the boys would enjoy the waterpark more than doing lunch with Disney Jr. characters. It is more for my dd. We are also doing Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys so maybe eliminating one meal would not be the end of the world....

We just went to Blizzard beach for the first time yesterday and had a blast. I don't think you would regret it but give yourself more time and get there when they open. We didn't arrive until an hour and a half after opening and we had a difficult time finding chairs. Lines were not long except for Summit Plummit which was about 40 min. We stayed until they closed at 5 and could have stayed longer
