My 2 nephews from Maine just learned of their upcoming trip to WDW and got to see the Disney planning DVD. Now they are all excited about going to a waterpark. IF we should hit a couple days in mid January when it might be warm enough, what's the water temperature like at Blizzard Beach?

Thanks!

I've done it in feb but being from the UK we found the days lovely and warm, not sure for Jan but we'll probably try then too :-)

:rotfl: :rotfl: We are going in February, too...and I sure hope we have a couple of warm days...because my grandchildren really want to go to Blizzard Beach.... :cool1: :sunny: :Pinkbounc :smooth: and I promised we would if it isn't too cold..... :sunny:

for the past 10 years i've gone in eithe december or january, and every single time we've spent almost every day in the pool, and we've always hit Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. I'm from New York, so even a 65-70 degrees down in Florida with some sun is always fine for me. I'm sure you'll get a day in at Blizzard Beach! :cool1:

ps. water temperature is usually around what is it outside i think? it's usually fine in the water, maybe a little chilly when you get out :earsboy:

If I'm not mistaken all the pools at disney are heated to 80 degrees. I believe that I have seen some posts here that say that it is also heated at the water parks. Just have that towel really close by when you get out. :cold:

The high for this week is 75-80, perfect for a day at a water park.

We are from the UK and visit in January/February time and always go to Blizzard Beach! We even had it to oursleves one day (or so it seemed it was that empty!). Unfortunately, Typhoon Lagoon is always closed for rehab at this time!

It can sometimes feel a bit chilly as you walk from slide to slide, etc but when you are in the water it is fine.

Have Fun!

27 days and counting!!!
