Anyone been at water park's open? Are they opening a little early like the rest of the parks?

No. They are pretty consistent with open time, maybe 5 minutes or so early. They do open the gates, but hold you behind a rope at several points to get into the various seating areas. You can enter and get to the lockers / changing areas early though.

Anyone know if they are they still giving towels to hotel guests?

Yes the are! We were there Saturday, got there at opening time, walked in got a locker and free towels (right by the lockers). It was a blast! Not crowded at all. It was 90 degrees and sunny so a perfect waterpark day!
