Back in 1997 I worked at Blizzard Beach as a life guard, now I have 2 boys ages 2 and 4.
We will be going to this park in October when we go.
There is a kids pool that you walk into like a beach, so they can walk/crawl in the shallow pool. There are some slides that they can do including a tube slide.
The tubes have closed bottoms so they dont fall through.
There is the lazy river that you can float around together. You can sit in the tubes together and relax.
Also, if you hike to the top of the mountain, there is a FAMILY raft ride. Team Boat Springs. This is a huge Tube with an enclosed bottom. It will fit upto 5 people in it. The ride is pretty long and it loads quickly, so the wait won't be so bad.
The kids pools are kept the warmest, so that is good, but in the lazy river there are areas of cold water (as it is supposed to be melting snow) so keep that in mind, especially if you appear to be entering a cave. However, there are exits throughout the trip, not just one or two.
I recommend Blizzard Beach to ALL age groups!!!!!!
