We have never been to any of the water parks but it looks like we may arrive a day earlier in Orlando than planned so we have an extra day to just relax. Right now the forecast if calling for 78 degrees on Thursday so we thought it might be fun to check out BB. Our kids are 3.5 and 12 months....is there anything there for them to do?

There is a nice play are just for the little ones at BB (pint size slides and water squirters). TL also has a nice area too. We love the waterparks.

Back in 1997 I worked at Blizzard Beach as a life guard, now I have 2 boys ages 2 and 4.
We will be going to this park in October when we go.
There is a kids pool that you walk into like a beach, so they can walk/crawl in the shallow pool. There are some slides that they can do including a tube slide.
The tubes have closed bottoms so they dont fall through.
There is the lazy river that you can float around together. You can sit in the tubes together and relax.
Also, if you hike to the top of the mountain, there is a FAMILY raft ride. Team Boat Springs. This is a huge Tube with an enclosed bottom. It will fit upto 5 people in it. The ride is pretty long and it loads quickly, so the wait won't be so bad.
The kids pools are kept the warmest, so that is good, but in the lazy river there are areas of cold water (as it is supposed to be melting snow) so keep that in mind, especially if you appear to be entering a cave. However, there are exits throughout the trip, not just one or two.
I recommend Blizzard Beach to ALL age groups!!!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

BB has the best kiddie area. It is apart from the rest of the park, spacious and visibility is great, lots of seating, well supervised, close to all your needs and it is adorable. Wave pool there is gentle as well, so you all can enjoy that ! Do the lazy river together as well.

I think that Typhoon Lagoon has a better kids area than Blizzard Beach. They have a killer little tube ride that my daughter when she was 2 & 3 just loved. But either park is a lot of fun.
