What are your thoughts on taking my twins who are 3 1/2 to blizzard beach do you think it is worth it and is there enough for them to do there??

If you are staying at a hotel with a well-themed pool area such as Stormalong Bay at the BC/YC then I would say that three-year-olds will not get anything extra from one of the large water parks. It will save you the bus trip or car ride to the park with two young ones in tow.

However, if you want to experience the water parks then maybe you should go anyway. This assumes that you have at least one other adult with you to help watch the little ones. One of you could wander the park a bit while the other attends to the kids.

We were at Blizzard Beach with our ds 5, and dd3. DS and DH had a blast on everthing they could go on. DD and I spend the entire day in the kiddie area and she had a blast too! There are several smaller slides she went on and splash zones. There are also sand play areas, so bring toys if you go. If the kiddie area was the only thing the entire family was doing that day, we would think twice about spending the $100 again. But, it depends too. We stayed at Fort Wilderness and the pool there has no slides etc for extra fun. Since the boys were able to do their own thing they had fun. There are a couple "family" oriented ones we all went on (sorry can't remember the names, but like a lazy river on a tube, and a big raft one). With 2 young ones the same age, I bet they would love it, but would you? Unless the adults want to tag team child watch and catch a few rides themselves, it might be a bit of an expensive day, depending on what you have available at the resort as an option.

We are planning on spending a few hours one morning in a water park when we go this December. Our daughter is 3, we'll see how it goes!

We took our almost 5 year old daughter last Sept. to both water parks and everyone enjoyed blizzard the most. The childs area is acceptable and the multiple person raft rides were a blast. Though I still want to swim with sharks again at Typhoon. Last Sept I could have gone through 10 times in a row if wanted to.

we took my 2 yr old nephew over to BB this past june, he loved the little kids play area, sadly the weather acted up and we had to leave early :guilty:
