I did not find a height requirement for the Cross Country creek ride- does anyone know if it is ok for a 4 year old to ride in a tube with a parent? Also, the Teamboat springs?

Thanks!

I can't help you with the first one, we didn't do that one, but as for Teamboat Springs, we did it and our dd was 3. She loved it, wanted to go again, but we were too cold. It was a very over cast type of day. Be warned, it's quite a hike up the stairs to get there. You'll love it, they even have a photographer waiting for you as you come around the last turn. It was a blast!

you mean on the winding river type thing where you just sort of float along? If so, then yes. They have some double tubes and some kiddie size ones. The water isn't very deep. My dd was 5 1/2 and 44" and was able to stand in the river and push her tube in front of her with no problems. I think there's a ski lift type ride to get to the start of the Teamboat ride if you don't want to do the walk.

Cross country creek you can ride a parent and child in the same tube. Blizzard beach also rents very nice life jackets for kids and that is what my DD preferred at that age. She floated in a tube but was pretty small for it so we knew if she fell out she wouldn't sink.

When DD was 3, she and DH rode together on one tube down the lazy river ride, and then when we went in October and DD was 4, we let her ride in her own tube. The kid size tubes are small enough so they wont slip through. They all have these really big handles on either side of them so we all just kind of held onto each other's handles as we floated and we had no problems at all. She thought she was a big girl with her own tube. You could also go together in the double tubes but I think the holes on those are a lot bigger and I would be worried about her slipping through.

I was kind of worried that there might not be a whole lot for her to do here other than being stuck in the kiddie section all day, but I have to say her absolute favorite ride at any of the water parks was the Toboggan Racers. There is no height requirement. There are 8 lanes side by side and it is just like one gargantuan water slide. We must have rode this ride 8 times in a row and she still couldn't get enough. For some reason, I didn't mind going over and over and over with her.

Teamboat Springs, the family raft ride, was awesome too. We all couldn't get enough of that one.

I miss DW! :guilty:
