I was wondering how to get tickets to blizzard beach with our DVC discount? Can we purchase these before getting to the park and where? I was thinking you can also get an advance purchase ticket discount. Is it one or the other or can you get the advance purchase price plus the DVC discount?

Good luck finding that out. If you get both, I will be mad at myself. We bought our tickets at the gate and just showed our DVC card.

Disney does not combine discounts. You would have to purchase which ever is cheapest. As JKMJ441724 said, you can purchase water park tickets with the dvc discount at the gate. The discount is $4 off adult tickets and $3 off kids (ages 3-9) tickets.

You can also purchase tickets with your DVC discount at your resort. The ticket window at Blizzard Beach was not crowded so it didn't really save us any time but it might have during a busier season.

Can you also get $4 off adult price for Typhoon Lagoon by showing DVC card at front desk?

Thanks!:goodvibes

A couple of years ago I went in December and tried getting the AP discount (I think it is the same as the DVC discount). I wanted to buy the tickets ahead of time before our summer trip. I think historically Disney raises the waterpark tickets in May or something like that. I was just trying to save a couple of bucks. In any case, you could buy the tickets at any park or even at your hotel. However, the only place that could have given you the AP discount was at the ticket booths at the waterparks. I would think it would be the same for the DVC discount. Maybe things have changed since then but that was my experience.

Another option is to get an 10 day park ticket with no expiration date with water parks and more. This might be a good idea for someone that does not have an annual pass, but wants to save a little bit of money in the long run.

Based on my calculations I'll be paying an average of $30 a day for access to the theme parks and water parks. Not to mention the ticket will last me 3-6 visits!
