Blizzard Beach Closed All Of November---is This True???

IS IT TRUE????
According to the Nov calendar...it says Blizzard Beach is closed all of November for renovation. I hope this is a mistake. We will be going Nov 13 and were looking so forward to Summit Plummit!
In earlier notes, it stated it was only going to be closed the last week of October.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes, this is true. The water parks have to be rehabbed once a year. Each closes down for a month or two. This year Blizzard Beach is going down first because Typhoon Lagoon is going to have some additional construction (adding a new attraction) and it may take a little longer.

By the way, no one ever said BB was only going to be closed the last week of October. That was the limit to how far out the hours went. But once it was announced that BB was closed the last week of October it was pretty much a given it would be closed in November. Rehabs never only take a week. It may be closed in Dec too, with TL closed January and February.

BB was closed all of November when we were there last year. I believe it reopened mid-December. We had a great day at Typhoon Lagoon though!

this is normal. they've been doing this as long as I can remember. One park for a month, then the next one to follow. My family is arriving on Oct. 22 and was planning to go to BB on the 24th, but it closes on the 23rd, so they will have to go to TL. I agree, you only saw when it closed, but not when it reopenned because the November hours had not been released yet. I knew, by past years, that it would be closed to at least the 24th of November.
