How do you reduce the pain? mine just poped (one blood blister and one regular). I got them from my rain boots. Help me, it hurts (and im not a wuss type)

Try using Moleskin. You can buy it at most drug stores. We take it with us on all of our WDW trips. Someone inevitably gets blisters from too much walking.

I usually don't get them but I completed the disney princess half marathon in March and halfway though I had both blood and regular blisters. The med guy put on a gel coushion and taped my foot. I was able to continue and finish the race going another 6 miles with blisters so I would say it worked.

You say it poped meaning it just came out or the fluid drained? If the fluid has not drained on the regular blister steralize a needle and make a small hole allowing it to drain then cover it. Leave the skin intact! As for the blood blister I do not know but I don't think you should drain that one.

Feel better....keep it clean as to not get infected.

Put some neosporin on it (name brand not the store brands, it does make a difference) and cover it with a bandaid. Change everytime the band aid gets dry. If you do this before bed tonight you should wake up and it's much better.

It is recommended to not pop the blisters but if they are large I don't know a person who won't pop them. :rolleyes1

Keeping it lubricated with the antibiotic ointment/cream should reduce some of the discomfort and it should feel much better in the am as the PP said. Don't mess with the skin unless it is loose. If it is loose it leaves a pathway for bacteria and should be removed but if the blister drains and is just flat it should be fine with the bandaind/cream.

Mine always tend to pop themselves before I really notice them.

Once its opened, you definitely need to use some neosporin and a bandaid.

Moleskin is great, but the also make blister bandaids. They work well if you already have a blister

Neosporin seems to be helping, I trimmed off the loose flappy skin on the one. I left the skin on the blood blister since it was flat. Would you believe this is my FIRST ever experance with blisters on myself?
