Blenders in Rooms?

My husband likes to have a protein shake each day, with protein powder and milk, with a few ice cubes tossed in. i'm wondering how to accommodate that when we go to WDW next March. i don't recall seeing a blender in the kitchens at Boardwalk Villas. We will be there most of the time, last couple of days at Port Orleans Riverside. Does anyone know if it's possible to request a blender for our kitchen? Or does anyone have any ideas for how to get him a protein shake without packing our nutribullet? Are there like little blenders or battery-operated immersion thingies that might work?

In the one bedroom villa at the BWV, I'm pretty sure we always had one?
We do the shakes a lot, and find that a blender is a pain to clean. I brought one of those immersion blender things with the large cup to our last trip to Hawaii (even though our condo had a blender). I got it at Costco. It packed easily, and is easy to wash out. It will crush the ice for sure, just get a good one! Just bring a the little bottle of dish soap & sponge with you when you check out to go over to POR.
If he wants to forgo making it frozen, just use a Blender Bottle! I bought a couple from Amazon. Then add ice after - works pretty well. It's a large cup with a metal spring thing that mixes up the powder. Yeah, we brought that too!

Thanks so much. Maybe i should call Boardwalk Villas and ask if they can provide a blender. My sister may have an immersion blender. Maybe i can practice with hers and see how that will work.

we do a shake everymoring when we are there and last time they did not have on at AKL , but a quick call and they brought one right up. SO if you get to your room and they don't have one they will bring one right up , when have never had issues getting one.

Blenders are not on the DVC list of provided equipment for the villas. However, some people have posted they contacted Housekeeping and a blender was found. It is possible people brought blenders and left them in the villas and Housekeeping will let you use it. But there is no guarantee one is available.

I never saw one. Just stayed at WL and all that was there was a coffee maker and fridge.

I would just go to Target or WalMart in town and just buy one you like - leave it there when you leave. That way your daily routine stays the same!
