And I'm in a bad mood :headache: Too much laundry, too many children, too much teenage attitude. DD12 told me to stop singing(I have a nice voice); she was embarrassed(no friends around, just us). I was informed last night that "you always try to be funny but you're NOT, so stop it!" Because DS19 played his new CD that was "awesome" and i started dancing the Pony. yeah, i know, stupid and silly. DH thought it was funny. Later DS19 came to "apologize" by telling me that he was so mad he nearly called me an idiot. I told him I am glad he held back because he would have been sleeping elsewhere. ::yes::

I have watched "Fantasia" until I'm ready to puke. DS10 has destroyed several video tapes, a dish, some CD cases, and a pie today. He's just bored and I'm tired of trotting behind him. I've already taken him on a walk. His big problem is he's out of his school routine. I'm ready to stick my head in the oven...darn electric oven...

Bleh... I just feel like one big whine. I guess I have cabin fever. DH went back to work this a.m.(lucky man!) and I am left home to clean up. Sheesh! I never thought I would look forward to the day when all the kids are gone....

:grouphug: I have days like that too! I can't wait until school starts again next week. The kids have cabin fever, I have it too. My house is a disaster, the laundry needs done, every 30 minutes another toy needs batteries, the kids are fighting, crying and whining for this or that, they're always hungry, or thirsty, my dh is working a 72 hour shift and I'm so overwhelmed by it all that I've just been sitting here vegging out on the computer. It's my escape! So don't feel bad - we all have our moments where we're counting the days too!

I don't feel quite as bad as you do, but I am trying to combat this holiday clutter. Our house is on the smaller side and I can't stand clutter so this is bothering me today. I have all the small holiday decorations put away, leaving the tree and outdoor lights up. They really do look nice and I will probably put it all away this weekend.

:grouphug: pretty soon school will back in session.

I personally am not looking forward to it, but for your sake hope yours starts back soon. :goodvibes

Thanks, ya'll:wave2: DH just came home and offered to take me out to dinner without the kids :Pinkbounc I guess he could tell what kind of day it's been. I've done 5 loads of laundry, cleaned up the kitchen twice plus multiple messes, changed three diapers, gone grocery shopping with an autistic child(yippee) and spent 1hr on the phone with IS&T trying to get my work computer to act right. And you can't tell I've done a darn thing :confused3 School starts back Jan 10 <sigh>

January 10th!!! Do you have wine in the house? :teeth:

Wow! January 10th is late. My kids go back Jan 3rd. DS 17 is never home but DD 14 is around more. All we have done this week so far is argue. My DH can't stand it. He has been home for almost 2 weeks. DD just went to spend the night at a friends house, so no arguements tonight. :teeth:
