Blaze Pizza is supposed to open today July 29th (Any Reports?)

Disney food blog says Blaze Pizza is supposed to open today. If anyone goes please post your review here. We leave on Sunday to head down to Disney and have this in our plans to try while in Disney Springs.
 
Anyone know if they are accepting the DDP or will by next month? We have one locally and my teen DD loves their vegan pizza, if nothing else in Disney Springs appeals to her for dinner I was thinking she might want to go to Blaze with her friend who is coming on our trip next month.
 
On the Disney website right now it doesn't show the DDP being accepted but the menu is posted which looks just like the one near our house. We're short a few CS meals anyhow so if the teens want to go eat there we could just pay for it OOP.
 
Looking forward to this as well. We just had lunch yesterday at a fairly new location in Jacksonville and were impressed. It does look like the Disney Springs location pricing is going to be higher than their "regular" locations but I guess that's to be expected.

Those are the same prices that we pay in upstate NY in a strip mall but the taxes in NY are insane, so I guess we pay higher prices even at chains.
 
Looks like their pizzas will cost less then getting the ones from Wolfgang Puck express.


Can someone explain what High-rise dough is compared to basic dough they offer? I see it cost $2 more for the High-rise dough.

I have had both and Blaze is good but Wolfgang Pucks is better. On the other hand though I don't think WPE has daiyah cheese to substitute for vegans or the gluten free dough.
 
Wild. We were at Disney Springs on Tuesday and they still looked like they were in some of the construction/set up phases. We'll head over there on Sunday to see what's going on and report back though.
 
We love Blaze - A word of advice - if you like a 'char' on your crust, be sure to ask if they could keep your pizza in the over a little longer than normal. I find that, especially if you select the wetter fresh mozzarella, the crust can come out a bit underdone for my taste. Fresh mozz, basil, fresh tomato with a pesto drizzle - YUM.
 
I have one locally and for GF pizza it is very good.
My family all likes the regular pie.
I found their pizza prices reasonable.
