Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered before but just watching one of many you tube videos and the lady is on deck with a blanket round her. Do Disney supply blankets or should I take my own.
TIA
Nikki

You're not likely to need them, though. You'll be surprised at how warm it actually is. Our day in Juneau was near 90! We never needed mittens even on our gray, cloudy, drizzly Tracy Arm day. We had rain jackets from LLBean that were perfect for most days.

You can never tell, we have been on the cruise in May and wore shorts and been there in July and froze. One thing you can bet on is you'll have some rain, it is a rain forest. The blankets are in the cabinet were the towels are kept.

You probably won't need them. Its not like they have temps in the 30s in the Summer. It was shorts and t-shirts for me when I was there last Summer.

We were on the Wonder mid-August of 2011 and we definitely needed them on our trip up to Tracy Arms. But Disney provided plenty!!

We were on the 7/26/11 cruise in Alaska and we definitely used the blankets on sea days, and that was over layers & an insulated jacket. We were all in jeans during the day.

We even used the blankets on a Pacific Coast cruise coming down from San Fran. Thankfully, Disney has plenty, no need to bring your own.

Was that this summer? I will point out that this year the weather in Alaska was extremely atypical. The weather in Alaska can vary (almost by the minute), with rain and sunshine alternating throughout the day regardless of what time of year it is.

We were on the Sapphire Princess in June. When we were up on deck to watch MUTS, we definitely needed and appreciated the blankets they provided. It gets chilly on the open water especially when the wind kicks up
