Blanket charge???

Hi everyone,
I am staying at Poly DVC next week. Yeah!!! I am going with my 2 best friends that like to sleep with AC on high. I read somewhere that if you ask for an extra blanket you will be charged... Is this true?? I really did not want to pack an extra blanket in my suitcase.

I have never been charged for extra linens. I'm not sure where you read that, but it seems very odd.

I think they put it in writing to cover their butts in case somebody tries to abuse the system. I have never been charged.

Just to clarify DVC's policy on towels:

If booking a DVC villa using points, the villa will have limited housekeeping services. The villa will have a set of towels and wash cloths which will be replaced every fourth and eighth day. If a guest wants an extra set of towels, it is available for an additional fee.

That one (blankets) isn't in writing that I've ever seen. Free for additional. Someone must have confused with towels.

Enough for the stated capacity of the room. The capacity will vary, depending upon resort and room type.

Even with the AC on high and the motion sensor defeated, I have never managed to get any rooms cold enough to be comfortable at night at Disney resorts.

Just FYI, you won't be charged for extra pillows either. My mom has to sleep partially upright due to back pain and I asked for extra pillows to prop her up. Within 20 minutes, Mousekeeping was at my door with a cart and a dozen pillows. I'm not sure I want to know what the family walking down the hall watching us was thinking.

I was in a BWV studio two weeks ago, we only had towels for four. There were only two of us so we were fine but if you actually had five, I guess you could call for a fifth set.
