Does anyone know why the weekend of Jan 18/19/20 is blacked out for the discount? Is there something going on that weekend that would affect crowd levels?

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday Jan.21st. So the weekend is a long weekend.

Yes it looks like most all holidays will not be blacked out of discounts. This is good to know as I may be planning to go during MLK weekend in 2009. Needless to say folks going during holidays should be prepared to pay higher rates now.

The marathon is the weekend before. We are going the 11-21 of Jan. and we hit the marathon crowds first and the MLK crowds at the end. Hoping for a very uncrowded middle of our trip!!
