Blackbeard's Cay Beach & Stingray Adventure on Nassau.

Has anyone participated in this excursion and if so, how did you like it? We will be on the 9/26 Wonder cruise with our DD4.5 and am anticipating CC possibly not being available by then. We thought this excursion sounded the best for her age. Still, we will consider the other wonderful opinions here of either the Cable Beach or looking for a day room at Atlantis or the Comfort Suites.

I was on the August 14th Magic, which was diverted to Nassau because of Hurricane Charley. We had not planned on doing this excursion, but we were able to book it after the itinerary changed. We had planned on swimming with the stingrays in Grand Cayman instead. Anyway, to answer your question - we thought it was great. The beach itself is very clean, the water is wonderful. Going in with the stingrays was really cool - they are like puppies, swimming up against your legs as you walk around. The water depth with the stingrays varies from about a foot deep, to over your head - and you can snorkel with the stingrays and other cool fish. Only thing we didn't like was the way the lunch was organized. Everyone has to eat within a certain time slot, and we ended up waiting in line for burgers for about 45 minutes. Other than that, I would recommend this excursion.

we were on the 9/9 cruise and this excursion was one of several that were cancelled because of damage from Frances.
