Black SUV Service???

Help…. For the life of me I can not remember the company that offers Black SUV that will pick you up from MCO and transport to resorts.

They pick you up, dressed in a suit, fully air conditioned. Waiting for you at the baggage claim.

They have car seats installed if needed.

We have Uber in the past and had a horrible experience with a pick up last year. I’m not going that route this year.

Any recommendations please

We have used Tiffany for years. We get a text as we get off the plane & the driver instructs how he’ll meet you. The SUVs are always clean & safe. They do have options for larger parties. We don’t travel with children, so not sure what type,of car seats are available. They do a grocery stop if you want that. The drivers are not in suits anymore, but have dress pants & a button down or polo shirt, which is fine with us. At pick up, their default is 2.5 hours before your flight. But they are always anywhere from 10-20 minutes early. So we have no worries about if they forgot us, or being late to the airport.

We have used a few other services over the years. Every one has had air conditioning, so that shouldn’t be a concern.

Not interested in Mears at all. I really wanted recommendations of car services that Ppl have used.

we are traveling with 6 of us. 2 Adults - 3 Teens and 1- 10 yr old.

I miss Magical express lol! We have used Uber from the airport last year only 5 of us then. The driver showed up with 2 car seats in the car, food all over the seats, a huge castle playlet between the seats and no bra on..... Yes I requested a large SUV for the ride share from an airport. I looked at her like she was nuts. she tried to remove her car seat but where was the luggage going? After 30 mins of her fumbling around I was like enough! refund our ride and call for a new ride.

This year I am planning better!

While we waited I watched a car service- LG SUV nicely dressed man in a suit load a large family into a car with car seat installed/prepared already, suitcase loaded nicely and they were off. My husband looked at me and says -NEXT YEAR I want that!

so I am looking for who used who and their thoughts on best company

We used MCO2Disney by ATC last year and had a really great experience. We had 5 people, one needed a car seat. It was installed perfectly as I requested (we do rear facing when possible), they also answered all my questions about what seats they used before I booked. He had a second booster installed for his next pickup - asked if we minded it being there or if we wanted it uninstalled. Both of them looked new. It was a large SUV and very clean and comfortable. The driver met us at baggage claim and was there early, he helped us with getting our luggage out and loaded all of it. He even gave my daughter a pair of Minnie ears.

We loved it and if we weren’t driving this time I 100% would book with them again. After doing Mears the trip before it was night and day.

Not sure what kind of pick up you witnessed. Unless the garage is closed for something like severe weather, car services don’t load where ride shares do. They have a dedicated lane in the attached garage. They meet you at baggage claim & take you down to the 1st level to get to their vehicle. Tiffany Towncars does have vehicles that accommodate 6, as do most other car services.

We've used Gearfusion for the last two trips and they're great. They have a variety of size vehicles to choose from, all outlined clearly on their website (will hold X number of people plus X luggage). They're friendly, always waiting for us, help with the luggage and quickly get us to the SUV in the secret area (at least that's what we call it!) that's nice and quiet and off to the resort we go! We get a text the day before outlining who will be picking us up etc. And, my friend used them and had some delayed flights, needed to rearrange things, and said they were fantastic with all of it.

Same in reverse to get to the airport, and they're always there early so we never have to sweat it that they'll show up.

The recommendations I made are based on me having been a black car service driver in Orlando. I worked for Mears, who does provide private black car service in addition to Mears Connect, which is their shared shuttle service. The companies I recommended are companies that I always used to see around the airport and the resorts, with drivers who I had gotten to know. I specifically did not recommend a few companies that are newer, and whose drivers do not dress in formal attire as you asked.

Another company that I personally have used (before I moved here) was Ace Luxury Transportation; they were good. I have used black car services all over the world as a touring musician. Please take my recommendations as someone who has been in the industry and also has utilized a great many of these companies.

You do NOT want the exact service you saw. Proper private services meet you inside the airport and load in the underground private curb loading area, not the chaos of normal curbside pickup where one would get a rideshare.

I have only dealt with Tiffany (good then bad experiences, don’t recommend but others are fine with them) and Gear Fusion (good experiences, do recommend). The SUVs are the color black, nice and well maintained- but they aren’t Escalades. Don’t recall if the drivers all wore suits.

If you are going straight to a Deluxe Disney Resort I’d consider a pivot to a Minnie Van. At $250 one way including tip it’s the most expensive option but I’ve never seen a complaint. They wear professional looking polka dot outfits though.

OP, here's who I had priced out for our trip back in June. Seven adults (OK, one was 18).


We ended up using Tiffany. We were picked up from an MCO area hotel (flew in the night before), taken to the resort, then returned to MCO at the end of the trip. We were picked up in a Sprinter van, I believe it was white, but not positive. I'm sure you can go to the links above and see their fleets. Driver was professionally dressed (can't remember if he wore a jacket).

Well that is their coloring but they started with Traverses back in the day. Now the entire MV fleet is Suburbans, save for a few decked out Yukons they ended up with when Suburbans were in short supply. We've been told this switch was so they can more easily accommodate the airport runs since the Traverses weren't big enough for the 6 passengers plus luggage.
