A while back I thought I read a post with a link to a site that releases the Black Friday ads early. Anyone have any info on this?
thanks
:wave2:

Thanks for the link! It seems I am not the only one anxiously awaiting Black Friday! I have done a little shopping here and there, but am saving most of it for the "Christmas season" and let me tell you, I am having a hard time waiting! LOL.

Me tooo!!!! I took advantage of the bratz doll sale and the BOGO board games at TRU. I have to stop now because I want to wait until BF to do my shopping. I cant wait for the ads to come out so i can start planning my list!!

Add me to the I can't wait till Black Friday list!!!!!!!

Within the next 2-3 weeks though we should see them. They always start popping up around the first week of November.

I am hoping someone has a really good computer deal. That is my biggest thing I need to get. Just something for DS's room- so I'm really hoping Walmart or someone has one of those good deals they have around the holidays.

If Walmart is doing the deal with an Emachine, DON'T buy it. Emachine's are the biggest junk out there. You can usually get the same type of deal on a dell or hp and not have to worry about them breaking within the first 2 months.

Ive had an Emachine for about 5 years and its still kicking.. Personally if I could get an HP or Dell for around the same price I would.. I happened to get the Emachine for around $250 after sale price, instant rebates and mail in rebates and I needed a computer and this was all I could afford, but it has worked great for me.. Its now a second computer for us..

It's not that good of a deal. Not w/ the $299 deals Best Buy and Circuit City had all summer. We actually have an older Emachine from about 5 years ago. Not a single problem w/ it. It just has Windows 98 on it. By the time I buy the upgrade- well I just want to go new for him.

We also have an HP desktop that is in my office. This thing is only 18 monts old. It isn't working again. If I decide to take it to be fixed, it will be the 3rd time. However, my HP laptop is wonderful. So, I'm not really brand fixated, more good deal fixated at this point.

Count yourself one of the lucky ones. My husband works in the computer field and says they have the highest return rate out of all computer systems COMBINED. He says that they make great door stops though ;)

That hasn't been my experience. I'm typing this on the eMachine that we got two years ago on Black Friday at Best Buy. My daughter used it at college for a year before buying a laptop last year on Black Friday. Then she gave this one to my son. It became the family computer when something happened to our HP Pavilion and I just haven't had time to try to fix it.
