Shopping! My best friend and I get up early and go to where the biggest crowds will be. We love the chaos of it all. We will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner out and stay out late. Last year we were in Disney together with our families so we had to break our tradition. This year we will be making up for lost time!
Can't wait! :cool1:

I'm up before the crack of dawn hitting the stores! I am usually finished shopping by noon, and that's when I head home and crash. You get a lot of good bargains on Black Friday.

I don't mind shopping, but hitting the stores on that day seems totally nuts for someone who doesn't like crowds(me!me!me!). Now, whether the kids will let me sleep in is another problem altogether.

My experience is that unless you are one of the first people in line the REALLY good bargains are gone in about 5 minutes. The good bargains go for a good part of the day. I usually go around 10:00 and the crowds are gone but the deals are still there.

Black Friday is best! Shop till you drop for sure!

It really depends on the ads. If I see some things that are really great bargains that will sell out quick, then I'll be there on line. If not, I'll probably swing by later on in the day. However, I love being able to finish early, eat breakfast, and go back to sleep while everyone else is just starting their day. :goodvibes

I voted sleeping in, but probably won't sleep too late as I took Friday and Saturday off work and want to get the house decorated for Christmas on those days.

I went shopping early once on Black Friday and vowed never to do it again. Too many crazy shoppers and too crowded for me!!

This is the first holiday season in 10+ years that I don't work in retail part time, thus having to work on Black Friday.

My butt is not going anywhere near any retail establishment!!!! (nor is the rest of me)

I will never go shopping on Black Friday ever again. I've gone several times in the past (went to the store at 6am for a specific item on sale) and absolutely hated it. If the same rules that apply in mosh pits were applicable to crazy Wal-Mart shoppers then it wouldn't be a problem. But I'm not about to go knocking old women down just because there's a tv on sale.

I don't know if we'll go... We didn't go last year, just too tired. DH will have nothing to do with shopping on Black Friday. My mom loves to shop, so I usually do it with her. We usually have breakfast or lunch, I do enjoy the time with my mom. :goodvibes :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to watching the news and hearing about the fights and stampedes that broke out at various Walmart stores throughout the country. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Depends on whats on sale. I used to always go but last year there wasn't anything I had to have so I just mosied to the stores later on and picked up a few things.

I usually have all my shopping done well before Thanksgiving. Plus we will be at the ILs this year, so no shopping for me.

Neither, I'll be in Africa. :thumbsup2

Usually, I'm a shopper. Sometimes I get fantastic deals, sometimes not so much. But I actually enjoy being part of the crazy atmosphere that day.

I hate shopping and crowds, so Black Friday is my idea of a nightmare!
Sleeping in and eating Thanksgiving leftovers!

I'm sleeping in. I went with several members of my family last year for the first time. I didn't mind the crowds so much, I just didn't find too many deals that were that appealing to me. The things that I did find I could probably have found later in the day. Also, I have most of my shopping done already so I can't think of anything that I still need to buy that makes me want to get up at 3 o'clock in the morning.
