Black Friday Shopping Poll

I'll be loading 2-3 carts of stuff at Meijer around 4:00 Friday morning. Last year you were able to shop but could not check out before sale time. Will then speed up I75 to Kohls, then CVS. Macys may be on the list too.

My mom, sister, and I usually hit up the mall on the other end of town at 4(Boscov's, Bonton, Sears, Disney Store, New York & Company, Hot Topic).. then to Walmart(with a quick Mcdonalds breakfast run), then to the Target strip mall(Target, Party City, Michael's Arts & Crafts, DressBarn and lastly Barnes & Nobel)

There are very few things that we actually "need", but our favorite stores have better sales that day than most others(2 for 1 sweaters, $20 jeans, etc..)

It's like a freakish cult the way people plan their attack with maps, sales flyers, parking strategies, synchonized watches...NUTS!!!!

This is exactly what my friend Michelle does! She and her DH go every year and buy all the dirt cheap toys, clothes, etc. up to donate to Toys for Tots. And they are just crazy with all the planning and organization - she's been scouting out each store on the list this week and interviewing sales associates to help her with the plan of attack! Totally cracks me up, but hey, they usually get about $1,000 worth of stuff to donate for about $250, and Toys for Tots gets awesome gifts to give to the kids. One year they scored 6 bikes to give away and spent less than $100 for all 6 of them.

I'm their babysitter for their 14mo. old daughter, and I know she's been sick this week, so I've volunteered to have her stay overnight with DH and I so they can both do their black Friday madness. They're pondering it - they had revamped the schedule to adjust for one parent staying home with the baby until she woke up, and then swapping to send someone home with her when she needed to nap again.

But yes, they are that structured with it! Who knows, maybe some year I'll head out with them and do my Toys for Tots shopping with them...or maybe I'll just stay sane!

Ok so How many people get up at the Butt Crack of Dawn and Go Shopping !!!! What was your BEST priced purchase on prior Black Friday sales??

I try to stay away from Dawn's buttcrack. Really.
