In the past Best Buy has price matched items for me. I've had the Circuit City ad for movies & cds and BB gave them to me for Circuit City's price. Not sure if it is the same for big ticket items, but if you'd rather shop at BB, then maybe call & ask. Just bring the Sears ad with you.

You might want to ask a manager at Best Buy before BF. I tried to do a price match with a K-Mart ad, and they told me they'd have to call K-mart to verify it was in stock before they gave me the lower k-mart price. And that was a few months ago, not black friday.

Clearance Items: This will depend on the store, but Office Depot has been flooding stores with new products without giving them time to sell through the old stuff. Many stores are being directed to get rid of all clearance product before next year and are authorized up to 50% discounts off the register price. This is YMMV, but if your local store is well organized you can get some great deals. My local store has about six shopping carts, two freight trucks (the gray three-tiered carts), a dedicated four-sided clearance fixture, and about 20' of shelving full of clearance items with more waiting to be found, most of it heavily marked down. The toys r us here in town doesn't allow anything to be returned on Black Friday for a a price adjustment and you have to have your reciept or the card used to return anything. Just a head's up for any of you that want to buy somethign now and get an adjustment on it from toys r us. You may have better luck at walmart or target!

In the past Best Buy has price matched items for me. I've had the Circuit City ad for movies & cds and BB gave them to me for Circuit City's price. Not sure if it is the same for big ticket items, but if you'd rather shop at BB, then maybe call & ask. Just bring the Sears ad with you.

Typically their Price Match policy will exclude certain items. I.E. Quantity Limited items. So most door busters will state quantity limited, min 10 items or such, and they won't match those. Also, many stores around me have posted signs saying no PM's until after 11, thus excluding most door busters. I have had no problems matching DVD's and such, but big ticket items are getting harder and harder to PM.
