Black Friday Buddies 2011 Unite!

That Cricut is an amazing deal. I also want the Rubbermaid containers, boy's t-shirts and socks, some DVD's and Kinect games. It looks like I can get most of the stuf I want at 10pm and get out of there before everyone who wants electronics!

Hmm, I have a Cricut Expression ... so the Imagine would replace my Expression and let me design, too? ... If so, I may need to go to Walmart...wonder what Michaels and AC Moore's price will be? They are usually very competitive, too of BF...

I am not sure what the design capabilities are, but you can print. So you can print your own papers and designs and then cut them out. I am most excited about printing out the greetings for my cards and the journaling boxes for pages. I have the E as well, but I also have SCAL (which Cricut no longer supports). I can keep the E to run SCAL and use the Imagine for Cricut. (Crazy rationalizations right?! :lmao:)

BFads.net has 12 of the door busters for Target up and says they are working on getting the ad scans up shortly. :woohoo:

last year I found a great site....I think it was on one of the big black friday or deals sites.....but you could type what you were looking for in the right corner & search....then all the places and prices of that item on black friday would pop up.

Anyone else use that? Do you remember the site?? I wish I had bookmarked it.:sad2:

Too funny! Thanks for the head's up on this price though...will go do some research now.

I found some stuff I would like to get at WM on BF, but if I can't order it online, then forget about it.

KODAK C1450 Digital Camera $49
Epic Mickey Wii $15
Gears of War 3 XBOX 360 $28
Call of Duty Black Ops $28
Office Chair $36

Last year I managed to go online and I had each item bookmarked. I went to my bookmarks, stuck everything in my cart at around 1-2am PST, and got everything I wanted. That is exactly what I plan on doing this year. If it works out again, wonderful. If not, then it is not meant to be.

Hi. Can you please tell me how I bookmark an item?
If you are on, for instance, the WalMart site and you are looking up your items you mentioned, do you put them in the "cart" is that bookmark?
I'm technology challenged and really just know the basics.
Thanks.

I'm not super impressed with Walmarts BF deals I will probably just head there after I hit up Target to see if there is any of the stuff I am mildly interested in left like Epic Mickey and some DVD's. I saw the few deals from target that are up and I was wondering if anyone knew what a Nikon L105 12.1MP Digital Camera w/ 3" LCD Screen is. I tried searching for it and couldn't find this exact model online and the ad doesn't have a picture. I just want to know if it is a point and shoot or a dslr.

It is indeed a point and shoot...similar to the L100 or L110

As soon as the Walmart BF ad is up (on the Walmart page - normally a few days before Thanksgiving), I click on the actual item I want. That opens it up to that item only being on a page. I then save that page to my favorites.

On Thanksgiving evening, I check the favorites I saved somewhat frequently until I can actually add the ones I want to my cart, which you can do as soon as the online sales go live.

That's how I do it! Hope to help!

I'm sorry...I'm new to this black friday stuff...so are you telling me you can get the Walmart doorbusters online for the same price?? Also...I'm wondering how many of some items each store carries....like should I try to get there at 10 for some items that I MUST have (ripstick, soleskate, pogo stick, dolls)...or is it a pipe dream that I'll actually get a doorbuster??

First page has been updated with new ad scans. I removed the toy catalog links so it wasn't so cluttered. You can still preview them if you want at bfads.net.

Target's ad is not full add just a preview of the BF big doorbuster items. Happy Friday!:santa:

So with Walmart starting sales at 10PM, I'm not sure what the strategy will be. Our Walmart is open 24 hours (not sure if they all are now) so if I get there at 9pm and find the pallet that has the stuff on it that I want, is that soon enough? I'd like to digest my turkey before heading out the door!;)

Thank you rszdtrvl. How do you know what time the stores BF sales are posted. Do I keep track of that on this site or through that BF ad site that I signed up for from this site?

The last two years I've just been done for the day after Thanksgiving, showered and sat in bed on my laptop and did the Christmas shopping with sale prices but it was not at 2 am or 3 am. More like 11 pm - midnight.

Thanks so much!

Lovin' this thread. I'm hoping to find a Dyson digital slim at a great price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
