Black Friday ? and online

I found the camcorder I want to get DH on sale through Best Buy for $499. The problem is that there aren't any around me that are close. Will they have this sale online as well?

I'm still a little afraid incase I need to return it but then again, it's a $70 savings...

I think its almost easier to search around (and even pay a little more) than to deal with the craziness of Black Friday. But to answer your question, the "doorbuster" items aren't usually available online.

Sometimes you can get the articles on-line. Walmart is advertising that you can. The only problem is the sites get so jammed, that they break down. It happened last year to Staples.

I haven't personally purchased from them, but the reviews on eopinions.com are great (4.5 stars I think). I'd make sure that's what I wanted (maybe see if a Walmart or Circuit City near you has one you can look at) and go over the return policy (ibuydigital's seems fair). But I wouldn't hestitate to buy a camera online, except maybe eBay, especially if it saved me money AND a trip to a store on Friday!

That is definately the camcorder I want. I went to Circuit City and checked them all out. I like the convenience of the DVD and not messing with tapes and hooking the camera up to the TV all the time.

Looks like I won't get getting it online on Friday unless I did it late at night. We are going to the mountains and they don't have a computer. I will be at my parents later that night and she has a computer.

Oh well, maybe it will go on sale again before Christmas...
