Whoops, almost forgot to send my points for the challenge. I got 35 points!! Now I shall go take a nap.

Well the 2nd challenge was not as successful to me as the 1st challenge. I only got 15 points. This week should be better. I have already taken out 3 books from the library at school and I started reading one when I was making copies of tests.

I plan to spend at least 30 minutes with ds2 tonight as we review his college applications so that they can be sent by the end of this week.

I will enjoy the two bubble baths I am planning for.

This seems like a fun challenge.

Here are the results from Week 4 and the challenge.

Blue team .68% lost this week
Red team .603 % lost this week
Black team .355% for this week

challenge points

Blue team 535 points total
Red team 410 total points
Black team 225 points

Congrats Blue Team

Next week it is our turn again.

Bummer. Oh well, we can't win every time and we did win 3 in a row so we should be darn proud of that! I'm going to work extra hard to reclaim our title this week and hopefully finally win the weekly challenge. Go team!!

Good Friday morning. I am so tired. I had back to school night last night so it was a tiring night. I did get to bed at 10 but after a really long day I am exhausted.

Question of the Day: Where were you born and how far away do you live now?

I am born and raised a Jersey girl. I was born and raised in Bergen county (right outside of NY) and have lived in Monmouth County (middle of the state by the shore) for almost 30 years. I live about 50 miles away from where I was brought up.

Dona, Sorry you are so tired... I stayed up later than usual to watch ER so I am a little out of sorts too.

QUESTION ANSWER:

I lived in Secaucus, NJ for most of my life (born in Jersey City since Secaucus did not have a hospital then)...2 years ago, I moved in with my then fiance (we were married 6/24/07) to Clinton, NJ.

Secaucus is about 5 miles outside of NYC and Clinton is about 60 miles.

Oh, I did live in Lake Buena Vista for 5 months back in 1990 when I was on the College Program...:earsgirl: :)

I've been away for a few days...sorry! Hectic week as my grandmother had her shoulder replaced on Wednesday, and my mother is still recovering from knee replacement.

I was even this week--nothing gained and nothing lost. I'm hoping to kick it in this week.

I was born in Dallas, Texas, and, sadly enough, I've lived within three miles of the exact same place my entire life.

I know I can do well with the new challenge...I've already got bubble baths planned for the weekend! Ha!

That makes my day FomrCastMbr I grew up in Moonachie (yes that is the name of the town and it is only about 5 or 6 miled out of NYC). Only people who really know the area know Moonachie because it is so small.

AS they say at DW "It's a Small World after all"

Ah yes, the Meadowlands!!! I worked in Carlstadt and Lyndhurst for some time and DSis lived in Little Ferry...isn't Sagovia's Restaurant in Moonachie? Love that place!

It is a small world...we're still so close by each other...you are by the sea, I am by the mountains! :)

Yes Sagovia's is still in Moonachie. That is only a block away from my sister and my parents. I went to grammar school in Little Ferry (St Margaret's when they had a school and am a graduate of Wood Ridge High

ANOTHER NORTHERN JERSEY GIRL HERE!! GREW UP IN SECAUCUS TOO.8 YEARS AGO I MOVED DOWN TO THE JERSEY SHORE.HAVE BEEN TO SEGOVIAS A COUPLE OF TIMES.TALKING ABOUT SMALL WORLDS FomrCastMbr MARRIED MY BROTHER!! :)

Yay, it's friday and work is over. I went to the country fair last night, but took a walk to help work off the apple crisp today. I'm really need to stay in control to help us win next week. I haven't contributed much so far, but certainly could. I'm off the next 3 days and will be getting some yard work done, and eating healthy.

Lots of Jersey girls here. I've only been to new jersey once and camped near Six Flags in TipTam campground. Loved all the toll booths on the pike. ;)

I was born in Saugus Ma, and lived in Beverly Ma most of my life. I'm now in Danvers which is right next to Beverly, and about 15 miles away from Saugus.
I have 4 siblings, and 3 of them are in this area, and one brother is a whole 2 hour drive away. I'm lucky my family is all so close.

Fun question Dona.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Okay BigMama, what exit on the parkway are you at? I am at 105 and head towards the beach, when you are two mile from the beach you will find my little town of West Long Branch. I would love to know how close you are?

Hi Donac! I Am At Exit 88 Off The Parkway In Bricktown Not That Much Further From Your Exit I Am About 10 Minutes From The Beach And My House Is On A Lagoon Off Of The Metedaconk You Are Approx. 20 Miles From Me!

My in laws live in Toms River and we usually use exit 88 to get there. My bil used to live in Brick until they moved to Kansas

1st time i've been able to post this week(except for pm'd weight loss). I lost again this week:banana: I did well in the challenge but forgot to post in time so I will make sure i post my results from this week in time. Have a great night everyone.

Amanda

Questions for the day:

If you had unlimited money where would you stay and why?

I'll be back with my answer later.

Question of the Day: Where were you born and how far away do you live now?

Whoops ! Missed yesterday's ?. I was born and raised in NE Philly. Left home in 1990. Spent 4 years at PSU in Central PA. Then spent 8 yrs in the Williamsport/S Williamsport,PA Area. (home of the LL World Series) In March of 2002 we moved to MD. Spent 6 months in Gaithersburg,Spent 2 yrs in Germantown, Then bought a house again and moved to Frederick, MD (Darn i swear our next move is back to Pennsyltucky)

Questions for the day:
If you had unlimited money where would you stay and why?

I would stay in a beachfront house on one of the US VI. The scenery is so beautiful and i guess i'd never have to work if $ were unlimited.

Questions for the day:

I would probably be a beach bum spending about a month at a time at different beaches around the world. Just something about the blue ocean water and tropical landscape that makes me so very happy. :)
