QOTD is completely stumping me today. I guess I've never thought in my head that I would actually get to a goal weight so I've never dreamed about what that would mean for me. That's pretty sad, isnt' it.

I guess I would say it would mean finally mean being healthy for the first time in my life. I lost my mom way too young due to complications because of her obesity. I want to live a long life to see my kids grow up.

So now that I just put a huge damper on the board :guilty:

Congrats to all on a great job so far.

 You'll get there. And no, you didn't put any sort of damper on the board. Look at your siggy. You'll get there. Start dreaming of it.

When I reach goal I will know that I moved my thinking away from not believing in myself and setting myself up for failure. No more "hoping" to lose weight or "wishing the program would work this time". I will know that I will have believed in myself enough to keep going no metter how long it takes.

On a wayyyy more materialistic note - I will wear a swimsuit (maybe even a 2 pc) out to the beach!

I am actually looking forward to weigh in tomorrow morning before we go to bed I will get the Wii already for the morning and then i can pop on and tell you the news.

Hope everyone has a good day catch up soon.

Hello ladies. I posted this a couple of days ago, but I'm not sure if anybody saw it. My normal WI day for WW is Tuesday, and this week I gained .4. I'm sorry for letting you all down. Next week will be better, I just keep telling myself that. Saturday I am participating in the Step Out Walk for Diabetes with my boyfriend, it's a 3.7 mile walk in Kansas City at the Plaza, so that will be soem great activities points!

My blood sugar wsa up again this morning, despite the late night snack, so now I'm stumped. I'm hoping it's just a fluke. Next week I'm going to forgo the bedtime snack to see what it does.

I just popped on quick, read everyone's posts, and I have to run to bed, but I wanted to say that you DID NOT let us down! There are up days and down days, and the most important part is that you keep on keepin' on. YOu have a lot going on with the Diabetes and you are to be admired for getting your health in check. Have fun on Saturday!

Please don't feel as if you are letting "us" down. We are all in it together and your tiny gain this week will be someone else's next week. Just remember that our body weight can flexuate up to 2 lbs or more over the course of a day. You are committed to changing and getting healthier - look at what you are doing - a 3.7 mile walk! 3.7 miles!! Impressive!! Pat yourself on the back for taking a chance and getting out there to walk it.

Take care of yourself -
:flower3:

As frustrating as it is, I congratulate you for monitoring your diabetes and figuring out what is best for you...:wizard:

I have lost loved ones too early to this disease and my daily work involves begging folks to take their health seriously. Keep up the great work!

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes on my surgery this Friday.

Hypermommy~ I have a huge Fibroid that is being removed it's too big to be done by laproscopic so it has to be a abdominal incision. I'll be in the hospital over the weekend and then off of work for 6 weeks!

I put in my end of week weight tally and down 4lbs! Good Luck everyone with the weigh ins.

I lost a pound. I am NOT going to sit here and scream about how I worked out for 6 HOURS this week and ate pretty well and all I lost was a stinkin' pound!??!??!
Nope, I'm not going to rant about it.;)

I lost 5lbs but the stinking stones (our mesaurement) to lbs conversion does not show that it shows 2lb so I getting stressed

I did great all week, then we went out for my husbands b-day dinner... the cheesecake screamed my name... oh well....

No loss!

I didn't do as great as I'd hoped on my mini-challenge. Guess I was about 50-50 on writing down everything I ate each day.

But, I did great on the water and walking and lost 1.5 lbs. This is the most I have lost in 1 week in a long, long time, so I am thrilled.

I fully expect to lose another .5 lb today just happy dancing!!! :woohoo:

Congrats to everyone else on the team. Regardless of the numbers on the scale, we are all still hanging in there. I've heard it takes 30 days for a change to become a habit, so we're halfway there. Blue team is the greatest!
