I was looking through my recipes for something good to make for dessert. I don't do artificial sweeteners, so I was looking back to my WW ones. I thought I would share. My Mom gave me this one.

1 Can Pumpkin Puree (One Pie for me, or you can use Libbys)
1/4 Cup Water
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
1 Box of Chocolate Cake Mix (it can be the cheap kind, I buy whatever is on sale)

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

Spray Cookie sheet with Pam and then wipe with a paper towel.

Beat first three ingredients until fluffy (Puree, Water, Vanilla)

Add cake mix, beat well, mixture will be thick

1 Tablespoon of the dough is one cookie.

Bake for 20 minutes

1 Tablespoon of Dough = 1 Cookie = 1 WW Point

(Disclosure - I haven't done the points calculation in a while so you might want to double check).

I make something using almost the same recipe but I make it with spice cake mix and use a bundt pan. It's 1 can of pumpkin, 1/2 water and the cake mix. I use the Pam, put it into a bundt pan and bake it until it is solid (no idea of how long, amybe a little longer than a regular cake). It is really good, especially if you serve it warm with FF cool whip on it. Yummy!

hi everyone! thanks for the well wishes! it was really tough and the last 2 miles were the worst, but we made it. for the most part i was pretty good about what i ate and i drank a lot, so i think i did ok. we'll see tomorrow though. my legs are killing me though and i'm exhausted, since we woke up at 6:30 am.

WTG!:thumbsup2 :cool1: I'm sure your legs are super sore.

Yes, I have been MIA for the weekend and have been way off program. Today is the day to get myself on project status as Dr Phil says. I am tired of doing horrible and feeling horrible about myself. That leads to the question of the day. Wait we'll get to that in a moment. First:

Red Team Announcements

Tomorrow is weigh in day. Please email or PM me your weight by midnight EST. Last week we were the only team with 100% check in. Let's do that again.

Have you taken your 'before' picture? If not then do it TODAY!

Please keep a record of your weights in case there is an unfortunate computer disaster on my end.

Red Team Question of the day

This idea is stolen from the Blue Team where is it working well. Last Sunday Princess Vija, blue team captain, had a bad day at work that caused her to feel down about herself and her weight. Many friends wrote to support and encourage her. Jennz, blue team captain from the last Biggest Loser challenge, now a blue team member, gave Vija an assignment that Vija also challenged her team to complete as well. Here is my variation.

What is great about you? Today, on Monday, please share 5 wonderful things about you. They can be talents, personality traits, accomplishments, anything that makes you proud of you.

Each day we will repeat the previous days list and add one additional thing. It can be something that you just accomplished or anything you want to add. Then next Monday we will each have a list of 12 wonderful things about ourselves.

Do I have to go first? Due to my low self esteem this will be very difficult for me.

1. I am compassionate
2. I am good with numbers.
3. I have been married 27 years.
4. I have helped to raise three wonderful children.
5. When I went back to college I had a 4.0 GPA.

What's great about you Red Team? I want to know.

The WISH Biggest Loser board is developing a team challenge. It involves trying new healthy habits worth various amounts of points. We will individually track our weekly points and then determine a team total. The team with the highest total wins the challenge and bragging rights. I have heard rumors that there may be prizes involved somewhere somehow. Stay tuned for this big challenge. It will come out in the next week or two. If you have suggestions please feel free to PM or email me.

So check in today Red Team and share great things about you. How are things going on your program? Are you drinking your water?

Have a healthy day.

I am drinking my water! Along with decaf tea and white tea (both cold)

5 things good about myself, boy that's kinda hard!

1. I've been married 22 years.

2. Went back to college at 47 and graduated with a 3.75 GPA this past year. Now I'm going on for my bacelors degree.

3. I have 3 daughters that I think are amazing kids/young adults

4. I think I'm a good daughter to my Mom and to my Mother In Law.

5. I treat everyone with respect, regardless of if I like them or not. I work with a lot of people, I don't like a few of them but they will never know it because I treat everyone the same.

5 good things

1] I'm helpful

2] I was chosen woman of the year for my Hadassah Group

3] Very computer savvy

4] I attend religous services every week and I keep kosher when I eat in my house.

5] I have been married 10 years

sorry I am bummed.. I lost 2 lbs.. and i tried hard.. grrrr I was hoping I would have done a lot better.. Sorry guys :(

Don't be bummed...2 pounds is what it is 2 pounds!

Look at it this way instead of being all down about it.

WOW! I lost 2 pounds this week :woohoo: :woohoo:

Do that 5 more times and you have 10 pounds gone, THAT is the weight of (2) 5 pound bags of sugar.

Just as a side note 2 pounds a week is a good weight loss goal. WW recommends 1-2 pounds a week.

Happy Monday Team!

5 positive things about myself:

1) I have been married almost 14 yrs to a wonderful DH.

2) I have 2 beautiful children, who make me proud on a daily basis.

3) I am best friends with all of my sisters. :goodvibes

4) I finally got my butt in gear and did a 5K powerwalk at lunch. :cool1:

5) I wear the title of "Disney Freak" with great Pride. :lmao:

Have a great day!

Today went well! I am back on track now that cold is over and DFIL has headed for home. I telecommuted and didn't find myself stuck with my nose in the fridge (or the bag of oreos). Five positive or good things about me:

2. I am a Junior Girl Scout Troop Leader.
3. I am a mother to one fantastic daughter.
4. I am a fantastic cook. Cooking and baking are my true passions.
5. I understand that I am not good at something, admit it and take measures to prevent it from happening again.
