Woohoo! Go Blue Team! party:

Congrats to all the Biggest Losers and challenge winners!

disneychrista - I bet you look fabulous with your new do! I tried to see your pictures but since I do not have a myspace account I guess I cant. Sometimes we need to do those things we've been wanting to do to make us feel even better about ourselves. Since I am almost at the 30 lbs loss mark and I am down 1 size I feel like doing something for myself. My friend is helping me pick out a new hairstyle and I am going to go get it cut. I think a change will make me feel even better.

Vern - I hear you about the coworkers. Some of my best friends work here and they are very supportive but there is always that one. The one lady constantly asks me if I want junk food and when I say no thank you she always says so you are back on track with your eating. Umm hello I never really got off track maybe a few slip ups but I have not sabotaged. This particular lady is too overweight as well as her husband but they both are not inclided to do anything about it. People like this fustrate me. I don't understand why people can't just be supportive and understand when you do not want to go out to lunch on the spur of the moment.

Regarding the BL I think everyone will be surprised when they see the person voted off. This person looks great!

I had a feel good moment of the day. A coworker said to me today are you losing weight? I can defiently tell your looking good!

Have a great day Blue Team!

Michele

:woohoo: Great job BLUE TEAM!!!! :yay:

VernRDH - I am sorry about your co-workers. Can you really not refuse to go out? I think I would just take a stand on it one day and then they will know you are serious about planning in advance. I know that had to be a difficult situation to be in. You sound a lot like me in that we rely on our planning to help get us through the tough decisions each day. If I plan what I am eating it is so much easier than if I have to wing it.

I am feeling a little better yesterday and today and I even managed to get on the treadmill last night (slower pace) for 40 minutes. It felt good to get back to the routine. The compliments I got earlier this week when I was pale and sickly ;) have helped keep my motivation and confidence up the last few days. I did hop on the scale this morning (bad me) and it showed some good numbers. It looks like I should have that 60 pound clippie this weekend when I officially weight in on Saturday.

I hope everyone is having a great day and Congrats to all of us again!!! :)

Congrats everyone!! Wish I could say I had a part in our win this week, but I did end up going to FL & didn't weigh in this week. Not going to WW this week either as DD has another Dr. appt.

I've updated in my journal & will update here soon.

Congratulations Blue Team on your impressive double victory for the SECOND week in a row. :cool1:

I :worship: to you again Blue Team, but next week watch out for RED.

Great work, keep it up losers!!

Have a healthy day!

Woohoo WTG Blue Team :) I'm hoping to come out on top next week with my weigh in but time will tell. I know it's not a good thing to step on the scale except for one time a week but I couldn't help myself this morning and REALLY liked what I saw. I'm excited for next Tuesday but just hope I can be good the whole weekend.

DisneyChrista, I looked at your updated pictures on MySpace. You look GREAT! :thumbsup2

Hi all!

I am sorry - forgot to post this week: down 1.8 :goodvibes

Congratulations to the Blue Team - I am so happy we won and I just wish my loss had been part of it...

Next week I promise I'll remember!

Congratulations friends. What a great effort.

I need to get back on track here. The last couple of das have been a disaster. Lots of work and family stress, and a killer uti. I am starting to feel better, so tomorrow I am headed back to the gym. I need to keep this losing streak going.

Have a good one,
Beth

Morning - WOW - BLUE did it AGAIN!

HOORAY FOR THE BLUIES

I am off to tm - and here to repeat my "weekend" message - WEEKENDS COUNT - (once again this message is for me to hear OUTLOUD!)

I am off right after work this evening for a retreat until 7:00PM tomorrow evening - I am sure there will be food, food and more food. All ladies, some are trying to eat healthier - but we all know what happens when a group gets together.

I AM GOING TO THINK FIRST BEFORE I DELVE INTO THE BOWL - that's my mantra

Off to tm - GREAT JOB - keep up good work - GO BLUIES:yay: :yay:

I couldn't help myself this morning and got on the scale. I was down 1.6 lbs!!! So now I got me some new clippie bling!!!!:cool1: Trying hard to get that 50lb one, which puts me half way to goal!

I have to be really good this weekend, as I used all my flex points on Weds. So I must stay on the straight and narrow. I have plenty of work to do around the house, so I should be okay.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.:wizard:

hey i'll join the need to stay on track this weekend club b/c i had too many good foods around me during the week :teeth:

unfortunately we have a bonfire on saturday, but we are arriving late. i'll just think that food has been sitting around in the fresh country air for 3 hours before i got there so it can't be good anymore! right!

and sunday a lunch with co-workers at Spaghetti Warehouse after walking a 5k for Breast Cancer downtown columbus. red sauce, no meatballs ::yes::

here's to a OP day ladies!!

Hi Ladies :) Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday.

I have a question that maybe someone can answer or point me in the right direction. This is kind of embarrassing but here goes, I have quite a bit of, uh I guess sag on my stomach. That's where I've always carried my weight, never in my arms or legs, but right in my stomach. I'm starting to get a little upset over how it looks and now am wondering which is worse, weighing 50 pounds more or a nasty, saggy stomach :( Anyway, can someone give me some reccomendations of ab exercises I could try to maybe tone up a little? I know I'll never have a "perfect" stomach (whatever that is) but I don't know if I can deal with the way mine looks right now. My husband told me that in my eyes it probably looks worse than what it actually is, but I'm the one who has to live with myself and the way I look, right? I know pant sizes shouldn't be a big deal but to me they are. I'm afraid that with the way my stomach is now, I'll never be able to fit into anything smaller than what I'm at right now. Heck, I don't want to be a size 2 or anything but I am shooting for an 8 and I don't think that's too much to ask for.

Sorry to ramble, I'm just hoping someone can give me some pointers of different ab exercises I can try to maybe tone up my stomach.

Vera, the new clippie looks fabulous. WTG!!! :cheer2:

Hi everyone, I went through and read everyone's posts, but I am running out of time and I won't have time to respond back to everyone like usual. BUT a big  to everyone out there with negative friends and sending :sunny: to brighten everyone's day. HUGS and congrats to those of us achieving new things. ANd some "hang in there's" for those of us that are struggling.

I've had a tough couple of days with food. Eaten more junk food and I can tell it is making a big difference in how tired I am and I actually crave more junk food/ not satisfied, so I eat more. I have to get back to no junk food, it is hard for me, I swear McDonald's puts something in there fries that is addictive.:headache: Hang in there everyone!

And Bev, I do like your positive mantras, etc. Everynight before we go to bed, we say prayers as a family and we each take turns to say something that we are thankful for that day. It is a nice way to appreciate each and every day!

Hey blue team, need to tell you something, I have a dilema....

Some of you may remember that I bumped up our Disney trip by a day. I did that after we started our Biggest Loser challenge on the DIS. That puts me at flying out on Tuesday, and that is our WI day. We discussed this among the team captains and we have an idea... Molli (OhMom) offered to take over the WI tabulations for that week. I understand that people are very sensitive to their weights and letting people know their numbers. So if you are uncomfortable with anyone else dealing with the WI results other than me, please PM me and let me know!!!! I will keep your numbers a secret. What we decided on at Biggest Loser Central was that if anyone didn't want to report in that week, just hold onto your numbers and report in the following Tuesday. does this make sense? We totally get (and feel the same way) that our numbers are very personal, and you may not want to share with more than 1 person. That is ok. I just need to know how to proceed so the BLUE team can still report in their WI results that week. Any comments, please feel free to PM or post them here.

luckywife-

I hear ya on the tummy sag (among other parts that are sagging now:scared1: ) Cardio is what burns tummy FAT, but the saggy leftovers is another matter. I would think any core exercise like crunches, lunges, pilates etc would help with that. I know that many of the contestants on BL in the past seasons have had body tucks/plastic surgery after they have lost. Since most of us aren't going to do that (at least I'm not, no $$$ for such things) try core work. The stability ball is good too.

Hope this helps. Good luck!!

hey where's our group? no team challenge and everyone scatters?? hmmmm....

hey Veronica, i think i forgot to tell you how FANTASTIC your new clippie looks!!

i'm not having the week i had hoped for. i just seem to crave junk food and carbs...urgh!!! i'm hoping i can remain on track until Tuesday and not see any gain! urgh!!!!!!!

Saturday is my weigh in day and I was down 2.5 pounds this week! :woohoo: I had one rough day last Sunday but obviously I did enough the rest of the week to balance that day out. This put my total loss at 61 pounds so I can proudly sport my new 60 lb. clippie. :yay:

I hope everyone has a great weekend. We were going to go to the Pumpkin Festival today but it is raining and I don't want to go in the rain. We may try to go tomorrow instead. I need to get laundry, carpets, etc. done today but other than that I think a lazy Saturday at home sounds like a great plan. I will try to get on the treadmill for a while today as well. I am still trying to make up exercise time from when I was sick so today would be a great day for that.

Stay strong this weekend BLUE team! I know we can do it and we have an impressive streak to try to continue.
