Bj's Film Developing, cost and quality?

Anyone know the price of BJ's film developing, the send out, not Kodac special, just the plain ole' developing. And how is the quality. I've got 10 rolls to develop from our cruise and am not looking forward to spending a whole heck of a lot.

You spent a lot of money on your vacation, have a lot of memories on film, correct? Then why would you trust your film to be sent out to a lab? They batch develop, do not correct for color and in general do a crappy job. Try the one hour at WalMart, Target or BJ's. It will cost you probably a few dollars more, but, they will not get lost, will have the color and density corrected and you will have your memories preserved.
Can you tell I used to be a photo lab manager? I cannot tell you how many unhappy customers I have encountered, or how many photos I used to redo for customers who chose send out. Or, mainly how many rolls of fiilm were lost.
IMHO, if the pictures mean something to you, keep them safe.

I always do One hour places because I know my film wont' get lost! I know BJ's is cheaper, but it would scare me to get my film done there! LOL

Me too, it is one of those " a trained monkey can do it" machines.
Another example of bulk processing.
Go to where they actually have a machine where they can view the pictures before they are printed.

Good point, as I posted it I thought about that. I will develop a few rolls now and a few next week, etc. That way it won't be all at once. Plus we will have a suprise each friday when we see what pics we got on that roll.
