Does anyone have the contact information for the bulk discount? The one I used in early 2020, the person hasn't responded to my email.

Thank you!

If they are still doing the bulk discount I would really like to know this as well. I could use it. I would also be interested to know what the current rate is being offered by BJ’s on the non bulk discount cards. I got the 1 day pass to buy the Disney gift cards last year and I’m thinking it might be worth the $55 to just go ahead and join for the gift cards. They don’t have any physical locations in California unfortunately. Costco doesn’t offer them and the Sam’s discount isn’t all that great.

I found the BJs cost - $480 for a $500 gift card so 4% discount plus whatever credit card rewards you get. Sams is $485 for the same $500 gift card.

Would still like to know if a bulk discount is possible as MamaBelle4 was originally asking if anyone has the info.

Just a heads up. I just went to buy a $500 one yesterday with cash and they told me you can’t use cash for gift cards. Not sure if that’s a store policy or a National one.

I don't know if BJ's is currently offering bulk discounts but their regular prices are as follows:
  • $500 GC for $479.99
  • $150 (3 $50) GCs for $144.99
  • $100 GC for $96.99
  • $50 GC for $48.49
  • $25 GC for $24.49
Free shipping.

I emailed in April and they were not offering a bulk discount. When I purchased in bulk in 2019, it was approximately 8% off if you purchased $5000 +. It was a 150 GC for 138.50.

If you have a Discover card, their quarterly 5% cash back bonus (up to $75) is for PayPal. BJs accepts PayPal. So a $500 GC ends up costing you $455.99 after the cash back. That's a 9% savings.

I'm reasonably certain the current quarterly categories are Gas Stations and Target. The categories from July 1 through September 30 are Restaurants and Paypal.

It also is worth noting that almost every year for the last several years at least, BJs has had a sale on Disney Gift Cards some time in the November-December time period, during which the average discount increases from the standard 4% to 6% rounded off. I realize this does not help someone who needs cards now, but if you can plan ahead and have cash flow flexibility, you can do very well buying everything you need for the next year during this period. For DVC members, these regular sales also come a few weeks before the annual dues for the next year are issued and you can make payments at a discount.
And as noted, you can stack the BJs discount with a credit card cash back discount to increase the value.
