I saw a tv show last night called "Fire and Ice", about John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, and holy gee wiz, that man was HOT!

I saw a tv show last night called "Fire and Ice", about John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, and holy gee wiz, that man was HOT!

I saw part of it while flipping through the channels last night! In fact, I searched to see when it was coming back on so I can see the whole thing. I used to love watching tennis back then, with Bjorn Borg (my fav ), John McEnroe, and Jimmy Connors, too. I had forgotten just how bad McEnroe's tantrums were! Yikes! The show made me feel kind of sad for Borg, though. He had everything, it seems, but happiness.

I loved it when JM said BB called him over to the net during a match and told him, "relax, it's just a game."

But to Borg, it was more than a game; he just didn't show his feelings.

Yes, about his happiness. But it appears he finally found it.

Oh, he absolutely reminded me of Gary! (heck, forgot his real name) I loved thirtysomethig, too! And cried my eyes out the night Gary got killed. Felt like I'd lost a friend.

I would have been very jealous if you'd married him!

Holy Cow I was crushing on BB for sure! I played tennis in high school and I had Bjorn pic's all over my room. Gary was played by actor Peter Horton, and yes, either one would do just fine

I'm pretty old, too! I lose track of the years, so I don't remember how old I was when thirtysomething was on, but I don't think I was that much older than Gary. (although I was already married, too, but a girl can dream, right? ) Actually, way back when, several people told my DH that he looked like Bjorn Borg! I'm going to go take a look and see how old both Bjorn Borg and Peter Horton are today. If I've gotten old, it's only fair if they have, too!

I used to have the biggest crush on him as well. Did you know that he has an underwear company!! My daughter bought some in Sweden while she was living in Denmark. The store was really nice as well. Just thought I would add that to all of the good memories that we had of him.

Oh lordy me, I was CRAZY about Bjorn Borg. He was the whole reason I started watching tennis. I even named a kitten Wimbledon because of BB. He was a god........

I just watched the show for the 2nd time last night! I had forgetten just how cute he was. I took up tennis in HS because of him!

Hasn't John mellowed over the years?
