Bizarre news story

* Largo, Fla., private school principal (and Disney fanatic) Dick
Baker, 52, resigned in August after revelations by the St.
Petersburg Times that he took chosen middle-school-age girls (his
"princesses") on dozens of overnighters to the Disney World resort,
during which he supplied them with Disney-themed costumes and
swimsuits (and wore his own Disney pajamas). One princess made
81 trips. Baker's friends and neighbors, and all the princesses, and
most parents, support him, calling a recent police investigation (that
was completed without charges) a witch hunt, but enough other
people were puzzled by Baker's frequent hugging and ticking of the
girls, plus his Disney obsession, to force his resignation.


I agree it's bizarre,,but what's wrong with his Disney obsession.....

Yeah..it is a bit weird...I'm don't think I would let my daughters go on something like that... But sometimes grown people are really just kids at heart and don't really have any bad intentions, just not well thought out plans.... "Hmmmmm, maybe this would look weird to normal people!"

PS.. I frankly think there is nothing wrong with his disney obsession....

Just maybe his way of expressing it!

Okay I do admit I find it bizarre and weird. But....I don't know this man. Maybe its innocent and he really loves Disney that much. I don't know but I would give him the benefit of the doubt until I knew more.

How old were these girls? Middle school aged...so 13, 14.....surely of anything inappropriate were happening one of these girls would let on. 13 year olds know right from wrong!

I just read the full story..it sounds creepy,,,,he had the girls wrap themselves around him, so he could guess their weight....???

my local middle school is 6th-8th grade.....

I wonder why his wife didn't go along...would have made it look much better...

apparently the school is also being investigated now,,for all sorts of illegal activity...
