Bizarre HH Question

OK. I am doing my taxes.

I sold 50 HH points this year that I bought in 2000. Does anyone have a CLUE what HH was selling for direct from Disney in the Spring of 2000.

I can find EVERY other piece of DVC paperwork but the HH stuff. Monday I am going to call Member Administration I figure they can find something for my records, but I would really like to figure out if I owe or get a refund this year! LOL!

Does $67/point sound right?

You'll still have to verify with MS, but maybe it will give you the hope you need for now!!??

I was thinking it was in the mid 60s, but then decided that was too high LOL! I figure MS can find something in my file to send me for my records.

In 2000, DVC points were selling for $67 without figuring in any incentives available.

If you sold this year (2007) though, you won't be able to claim any gain or loss until you file your 2007 taxes - next year.

I'm sure Member Accounting can advise the actual price paid at that time. I'd just want to be sure when you actually sold before trying to claim anything on my taxes though.

I sold in October 06, by this year I meant the 2006 tax year. Guess that's not very clear.

That's when I bought and it was $67 but you could sell back half your points for a $10 credit.

I actually don't think I could selll back my points. I don't think I bought enough for that deal. Anyway, it's not a biggie. I will get Disney to confirm tomorrow and it's not going to make a HUGE difference either way.
