I just called CRO because I haven't gotten a confirmation letter by e-mail or regular mail. When I talked to the reservation person about this she told me that the do not sent e-mail was active on my account and that was the reason.

The bizarre part of this is that I got the pin code e-mail from them on Jan 16, so I'm not sure at what point the e-mail function was deactivated by Disney.

:confused3

Dare I fan this flame??? Well, sure I will! :thumbsup2

I had a similar experience last week...Called to check on my ressie because I couldn't pull it up online. When the CM read back my personal info it included a phone number from about 6 years ago!! And he said, "oh, that's why you couldn't pull it up - wrong phone number in the system". Huh??? Every other time I've called Disney about this year's vacation or last year's they gave me my current, correct phone number. I had even called 2 days earlier and the phone number in the ressie was correct. Why had it reverted back to a 6-year-old number out of the blue???!!!???!!! :confused3

Cuckoo...

Maybe there's a little too much pixie dust floating around those computers...time for a little spring cleaning! :)

Well the strange this is that they had my office address instead of my home address???? When I made my reservation they told me the same thing and it was changed then.

I had the same thing attached to my account. The do not call, do not mail/email. I never had that added to my account and even checked Disney online to make sure that I had checked to receive email. I had. I have changed my email addy/phone number several times. Sometimes, I can call and they have the updated info and sometimes they have the old stuff. They even have a number on file that has never been ours. It's crazy!!

When I called to make my ressie, they had my current email address, and I even got my confirmation in email at that account. When I called to see if I had a PIN associated with my name, they had an email address that I haven't used for 6 years.:confused3 The CM said she changed it and said everything should be fine. I called back yesterday just to see and my email was the old one again. This time, the CM said that she changed it in several places and then even went in and out of my reservation and profile and supposedly it stayed.

Now I'm wondering if I should call them back to check on it again.

Well I still haven't gotten my e-mail confirmation or any confirmation other then the reservation # they gave me.

Similar situation - called to make a ressie and was asked to confirm my e-mail. It was an e-mail I haven't used in over 10 years!! I asked her to change it and she said she would. Called back two days later to change ressie and was told the same old e-mail. I asked why I it wasn't corrected from what I had told them two days prior. That CM told me there are a couple different places where it shows up and she would change it.

What's more interesting is that for the last five years, while making resort and dining ressies with Disney, my e-mail has been correct and fine.

This does make me a bit angry. It's no wonder I have never received a pin code in an e-mail, even though I'm signed up with every Disney thing possible, including Disney's Blast, which we pay for. Their system is out of whack!!

I guess I will call again and ask for it to be sent.

Yes, I'd call back and ask for it to be sent.

Strange one for me too----2 years ago, I made our reservations under my name, plus under the Disney site my name is the only one on there....when I called last week, they had DH and DS's name, but not mine??
So she added me....totally weird :confused3

Their inaccuracy drives me crazy too. Have had all the same kinds of mistakes and then some. Today, they said they only had my sis, who I travel with often, as living at my address. She doesn't even live in the same city. Of course I was not listed as living at my address. Supposedly fixed it ,but who knows. Also asked for an email address as they had none on record. I give it every time. Here's the thing... how can they create all these high tech rides and can't get a reservation system to work?

When I called to verify my information, they had my husband listed as my daughter! (btw, I don't even have a daughter!) :rotfl2:

Oh.. I have to tell ya'll about this one time I called and they said ... "now Mr. Steven will it be you and your wife Destiny joining us?"... LOL I don't even know a Destiny. Disney has us married though.... hey maybe Destiny has a pin attached to her name....better call CRO and find out ...lol

I called to make our reservations for the trip we just took they had my sister down as a child not an adult. Very strange.

I have had similar experiences, lost emails, one CM says "you have been to disney 14 times" another says "I have no record of any past visits, ya da yada.

I wanted to cancel a reservation and they claimed it was never made. I figured I messed up, one month later (and ten days before the ressie) the CM said "Oh, I see a reservation for February 5" Thankfully, she says she cancelled it. Ever since they "updated" their computers it has been a nightmare.
