Bizarre church sign

I drove past the Pentecostal church this morning and their sign said "Come in and get a mouthful of Jesus" No really that's what it said!! Anyone care to interpret?

I agree as well that this is a reference to the Pentecostal belief of the "gift of speaking in tongues" which is from the New Testament

Communion is seen as the body and blood of Christ. Maybe this is what it means? I don't know how they do communion in the Pentecostal church, but I am Epsicopalian, and that is how we see it. It's hardly a mouthful though! Just a small piece of bread and a sip of wine!

I guess I could understand that they might be referencing either speaking in tongues (which I didn't know Pentecostals did) or taking communion.

That's a riot!

There is a church that I drive by everyday on my way to work that is similar. . .always has something clever. My personal favorite was during a particularly hot heat wave a year or two ago.

The sign read : Think this is hot? Try Hell.
